Awesome sanniches. This is the only jersey Mike's I've ever been to and it didn't let me down. You can get an obscenely large sub, which I did, and then pretended you're Scooby Doo or shaggy, which I also did, then crush the sandwich, which of course ?, then you're free to do whatever other activities you'd like. Pretty rad
The food is absolutely amazing. Always fresh and always hot. The staff on the other hand (and mind you not all of them) are not very friendly and seem to act like they could care less to ring you up so that you can pay for your food.
Since this location opened it has been a staple for our family. They have very tasty subs, and if you have food allergies they are very understanding and careful to accommodate your needs. Plus a friendly staff! Great place, thank you for all the subs!
Until this visit I'd never been to Jersey Mike. Got a Philly Cheese steak sub. It was decent. Not Luke the pizza shop in Vinton but for me, a good substitute when I don't feel like driving to Vinton.
The employees mess with their cell phones hair with gloves on then go make a sandwich.. today it was full of flies and they were on the meat cutter and the open food there with no one doing anything about it ! It was so clean and nice when it first open .. its gone down hill now !!
Worst Jersey Mike's I've been in. In visiting family and ordered online. Went to pickup and no one up front but one person sitting in a chair playing on their phone in a chair. Could hear people in the back. No greeting. Nothing. I saw my ticket on a bag on the counter. I had to shout is this order done? I got half a glance and a hollar "yeah". No acknowledgement. So it is over on the counter where I can't reach it. Do you want me to jump over, get it and help myself? Finally, this person gets up doesn't look at me and tosses it on the counter and walks away. I shouted THANKS AND YOU'RE WELCOME. I told them not to come back to this location.
The sandwich was good, but it doesn't justify the even higher price tag compared to other places like Firehouse or Jimmy Johns where the food quality is equivalent. Won't necessarily go out of my way to eat here.
Well now it depends on who is making the Sub .The managing staff is great with the quality they put on sandwich. The roll was hard at the in .The waiter did not use a cutting board just the counter .Sometimes you are given bacon free which is sitting on the salad bar and sometimes they say day they are not suppose to give it free unless the sub ordered comes with bacon ? I love the gaint size but I feel it's a little pricey especially during these times when you have to decide if you are going to spend ,$ 16 or get your medicine at Walmart
This is the first Jersey Mike's I have tried. I have been twice. The first time I ordered in store. The medium big kahuna philly was good, but small for $10 and it took 13 minutes to get. The second time I ordered, I used the website and placed an order for a medium club sub with special instructions to have it toasted or heated. I ordered 10 minutes before arriving. When I got there, it was not on the take out rack, so I sat down. A few minutes later a gentleman asked what I ordered and if it was online. I said I ordered a club sub online and asked for it to be heated. He looked around for a minute, found a ticket that had apparently been misplaced, he apologized and said it would be ready in a minute. A few minutes later he said here ya go and apologized again for the wait, which from my online email confirmation to getting the sub was 18 minutes. I got back to my office and the sub wasn't heated or toasted and like the philly, is small for the price. The employees are nice and friendly, but it's hard to justify 13 to 18 minutes of a 30 minute lunch break to get a single sub, especially when ordering ahead of time.
Jersey Mike's is a great place to get subs - they are amongst the the very best in the Roanoke Metro area. You have to try this place- it is fabulous. Their chipotle steak or chicken sub will knock your socks off.
