The 14" Suprima Pizza was great for two people. The place has a clean, open atmosphere. The ONLY downside was at the end when we got the bill. My friend, who was treating me, noticed the two drinks were not on the receipt. She notified them and they took back the receipt adding the price of them on without even a thank you or to say it was their mistake and the drinks were on them.
Service was average but the pizza was excellent. We went in just to get something to eat after a movie next door. But the pizza was so good that we'll be back on my next trip.
Great meal, but even better people. I watched 2 young ladies run through the dining room keeping all the tables happy. Then when needed the kitchen staff helped run food.Team may be understaffed, but they work hard as a team and service, food and experience was fantastic.
My husband and I had lunch at Grace's Place this afternoon, and we have never had a waitress that was so rude. From the moment she seated us she was angry and rude. We have no idea why she treated us this way. My husband had to go up to the counter to ask for a re-fill because she never came back to see if we needed anything. When she took our order, and also when she brought us the bill she slammed it down on the table. This was our first time eating there, and we enjoyed our food, but we will not go back because of her rudeness. She found time to drink her coffee while chatting with her co-worker, but didn't have time to wait on us. Sad that employees are allowed to act this way openly towards customers.
It can be hard to find a reliably good Pizza place, but Grace's Place is exactly that. I've never had a disappointing pizza from here, even after several years of ordering from them.I should note that they have a large variety of Italian food beyond simply pizza, but frankly, their pizza is so good that I've never actually tried anything else.The specialty pizzas, in particular, are where I think they truly shine. Whether you're looking for a delicious vegetarian pizza, or (my personal favorite) a classic supreme pizza with plenty of meat and vegetables both, there are a multitude of options, including many that use white sauce or even a few more interesting non-tomato-based sauces, for those who aren't big tomato fans.
Love eating at this local restaurant! Good selection of non-pizza items and although it became busy, waitress and host were great! They took their time with our order and did their best to make sure we had what we needed. Food came out quick but was cooked well. My nieces are picky eaters and they enjoyed both their cheese pizza and the garlic knots. Also, they gave my neices "kid dough" to play with and they could not stop talking about it.
Grace's has the best pizza in the Roanoke area. The crust is authentic, the toppings top quality (fresh mushrooms, great Italian sausage, etc.) & ready when promised.
We are new to the area and really miss a delicious slice of pizza!! We went for lunch on Sunday at the perfect time and the place was filled up shortly after we arrived. We ordered two medium pies (1 cheese, 1 Philly cheesesteak). We ordered a couple of IPA’s which were YUM and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is very clean and the servers were friendly. I also have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the music, quite a few Sinatra songs on their playlist, which was a nice reminder of my Pop-Pop! The steak, onions, and peppers were shaved perfectly as to not weigh the pizza down. Everything was super fresh, quality ingredients, and we especially loved the fresh basil in the sauce! Every meal that was served around us looked awesome and we are so grateful to finally find a great pizza place! I was envious overhearing the servers talk to the regulars as it is an hour round trip from us …but that will not keep us from coming back! Thank you so much for doing it right!! ?
Definitely one of the best pizzas in the area. Always made fresh, with the best premium toppings. Thin, perfectly balanced crust. Friendly, efficient staff. Highly recommended local jewel!
Wow, was blown away by this lunch from the drinks to the meal & even their dessert. I felt so energized after this super food salad (though it was hard to choose one thing) and so happy to see all their vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. So good that my family got their food for take out dinner the next day of our trip the other week!
