My party went to this Roanoke Farmburguesa location tonight--burgers were okay, service just fair-waitress acted like she did not want to be there and we had to ask for cutlery and condiments. Very small portion of onion rings for the upped price. We have been to the Vinton, VA location which I felt was much better--larger portions of sides and the rolls were fresher. I will not return to this Roanoke location.
This was my second visit to Farmburguesa but the first time at the Roanoke location. I enjoyed how spacious it was compared to the Vinton location which is very small. I wanted to order something I wouldn't normally order so I went with the South of the Border Burger which had pepper jack cheese, a pepper mix, and guacamole on it. I never thought I would have liked it as much as I did. I'll probably get it every time I go from here on out I enjoyed it so much. Bravo!
Came here for a team meeting with my work crew and immediately knew I would be back again. I had the caprese burger, and I didn't leave anything on my plate. Highly recommend!! We will be back. Clean dining, fast service, reasonably priced, and delicious food!
The burger choices at FarmBurguesa are varied, including a veggie burger, a chicken sandwich and a taco salad in addition to the burger choices. The number of patties and the toppings vary, with a choice of different cheeses, vegetables, and sauces. Waffle fries typically come with a burger, and onion rings and tostones are also available. All in our party enjoyed their burger selection, but the veggie burger patty was not available. Our wait staff, a young and seemingly inexperienced staff could offer no alternative suggestion. The guest chose an additional cheese slice in place of the veggie burger, and we were surprised when given the check that the guest had been charged for the extra cheese, even though there was no pattie. I brought this to the attention of our young wait staff, but he said nothing in response, and did not offer to ask anyone else. The atmosphere is basic but welcoming, with televisions high up around the dining area. The food was good, but we felt our server only took our and brought food to the table, with no actual service to or interactions with the diners. The restaurant dining area and restrooms was clean, the food was presented in an appetizing manner, and the prices were standard, with burger and fries in the $14-15 range.
Delicious. We tried the Columbiana and FarmBurgeresa with waffle fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious. Really liked the Columbiana sauce. Can't wait to try other menu items.
Fantastic burger! I scarfed down my waffle fries way too fast, they were so delicious! I've been trying to order new and different tastes when I eat out and the Colombiana did not disappoint. It's unique and tasty. ALSO the service was awesome. I went next door after and ate a sundae at Pops and didn't realize I had left my raincoat on my chair at FARMBUGUESA and the waiter saw me pass back by and ran out to give it to me. Very kind of him! I'll definitely return as soon as I can!
The burger was good, but I expected more. The patty seemed overcooked (I wasn't asked for a doneness preference). The bun was soggy and flat by the end. The waffle fries were probably the highlight. Good seasoning on them and the right crispiness. Service was good though. I'll have to try it again.
First time trying this place& burger was good. The lettuce didn't seem fresh & my fries weren't that good they seemed old. I think I am going to give it another try another day. I went to the Roanoke location I know a couple people have been to the one in Vinton & they say they are excellent not sure if it's the difference in locations I never go to Vinton so I will be trying the Roanoke location again in the future maybe just a bad day.
I'm in town for some training. I am so glad the trainer recommended your place. The burgers are amazing ?. Everything was super fresh and top quality. I loved every bite
Amazing food! Stopped in while visiting to backpack. So so glad we did!Serive was quick and friendly! I got the Columbiana, and my husband got the Tres Queso. Mine was the most amazing combination of flavors I've ever had put on a burger!!! Such creativity in that dish. My husband's was delicious and you could really appreciate the quality of the burger patty in his. We also got the queso frito and that was equally as delicious. Again, not your to-be-expected fried cheese, but a step above. Fries were also crispy and delicious.
