My boyfriend and I just picked up lunch from here for the first time. The outside is a little un-inviting but the inside is very clean and cute! And I mean like almost spotless. The ladies working are very sweet. The prices are unbeatable, especially for the quality of food you're getting! Almost everything is home made, even the tartar sauce! The homemade lemonade is delicious and I plan on trying their sweet tea the next time I'm in the area : )

If you want good hotdogs, go to Dillons. It is absolutely delicious!!! I was born & raised in Salem & I grew up on Sam’s hotdogs. Moved to New Castle & started eating Buford’s. Dillon’s is BY FAR the best hot dog place in the Roanoke valley. I just finished eating here & I will absolutely be returning at least once a week!
January 7th, 2021Great restaurant. Locally owned and operated by a Military Vet. Great Hotdogs. But, if you're not up for a hotdog, they have a full "diner" menu (hot dogs, burgers, chuck wagons, philly's, fried fish ♥️, etc.).Sidenote: the cashier (short gray hair, long nails, lots of rings) will not bite you. She is actually rolling her eyes at the fry cook lady (who won't stay in the kitchen) not you. ??. She is actually quite sweet with ALL customers. Read the good reviews so drove out to try. The entire place and staff looked filthy. I wouldn't let my dog eat here. Did not take out my phone 2 take pictures. Left after a good look around and believe me I got a good look. U could C the preparation area pretty good, not that U would want too. Makes me wonder if Roanoke, Virginia has a health department/ restaurant inspector anymore.
You can't get better hot dogs around here. Everybody who works here is amazing. The big daddy burger is the best burger around here too. I haven't tried anything from dillons that didn't end up being delicious.

I am OBSESSED with this place! Everything they make is amazing. But their fries and beef dogs are so good! I crave Dillon’s at least once a weekAlso the owners and workers are so nice!
