Me and my family went here yesterday for dinner. The food was excellent! The crab/shrimp dip with pita triangles were delicious. We ordered multiple tacos and everyone of them were visually appealing and the taste was excellent. Our kids are picky eaters so we were hesitant because they prefer chicken nuggets and hotdogs. They really enjoyed the shrimp tacos. Overall a great experience! Our waitress was excellent and suggested great options for us to try.
We loved it all except the plantains had way too much salt on it. We enjoyed the free chips and salsa. I had the carne asada tacos and they were excellent. The rest had fish tacos and really liked those too. Fast service.
So many different flavors going on, but it comes altogether and is delicious! I ordered the SoyGinger shrimp tacos and they were sweet, savory and crunchy...so good! Also ordered the Azularita. It was beautiful and very good! Service was a tad slow because they were short-handed, but that did not negatively affect our meal.
I liked the Cabo Fish Taco take out Mahi Mahi Tacos - so scrumptious I devoured them. Later that week we ate in, I tried the salmon and guacamole - sort of sour tasting but not bad....I think the tacos are the uber best and the way to go.
This place used to be soooo good!! Brought everyone here now it’s horrible. Extra spices which don’t mix u get to go order no chips and salsa like they used too. The amount of food is little compared to what it used to be. I took my stepdaughter and talked it up. She couldn’t even finish the Rasta pasta it was so bad. The dips were bad too. I’m very disappointed. If a new cook is there fire him immediately !! He’s ruining your business. Very disappointed!!!
Thanks for such a great restaurant. Wonderful, plentiful fresh vegetables in salad, virtually the best in size variety and freshness of any restaurant salad I have eaten. The blackened Tuna was excellent. My wife frequently orders fish tacos. These were the best she had at a restaurant.
First time here never been more excited to leave a review first impression go along way....... And they nailed it!! Nice professional courteous staff quick service guy says it would take 15 mins I was out in 9 food was amazing no complaints and it was put together beautifully!! I am here in Roanoke on a solo trip and just happened upon this place. I had THE most delicious lunch there. The service is great. Awesome and affordable menu. Cool place.
The corn/pico salsa and chips were great and the best part of my meal. If you don't like seafood, you probably won't like the food. I ordered a grilled chicken Baja bowl and it all tasted like fish. Pictured below...I ate the taco shell, which was good, too. Our server was lovely, worked hard to manage the entire floor by herself, and did a great job taking care of all the tables on the floor.
In Roanoke for a limited time visiting and we were able to stop here before heading to Big Lick brewing. Great service right from the start and fun beachy atmosphere. There was seating on two levels and bar seats as well. The chips and salsa that come standard all seemed like they were prepared fresh that day and all of our entrees came out quickly without anyone having to wait an exorbitant amount of time like some others in the area. Plenty of drink specials and options from liquor to beer. Group favorites were the shrimp tacos hands down. Cheers!!
