Honestly it wasn't anything special, I had 3 rolls, the prices didn't match the menu and the taste was average. Honestly Sakura 9 is both cheaper and tastier.
Our experience here was really disappointing. We ordered waters for 4 of us and they brought bottled water because they did not have ice and we found out at the end we were charged $6 for that. The bill was higher than we expected even after that extra cost, and when we asked about it, we were told all the prices went up from the ones in the menu by 20% and that it was stated on a piece of paper outside, which we did not see. The service was pretty quick, (but we were the first ones in when they opened), so that was something to their credit-but not very friendly at all. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I feel people should be warned. Not only did we feel the pricing was misleading, but the food portions were small and not that great. We will not be returning.
I was excited to eat here after reading reviews. Guys have you ever had quality sushi before?! This is at best grocery store sushi. Small town Virginia sushi is how I would call it. If you are used to good sushi, this is not it. Nice restaurant and cute ambiance, but the food doesn’t deserve the 4.6 stars? Are you kidding me!
Always great food, fresh and delicious! The owners and staff are always friendly. Highly recommend!!! I got the baby tako salad and the sushi dinner. All of it tasted like it was minutes from swimming in the ocean.
The food is so delicious and mm mm mmm the flavors are melting on my tongue. I love sushi so much and think this is the best sushi place in town. The staff are amazing and the hostess that served me was SO nice. The girl in the front was also very polite. I will be coming back and bringing all my friends and family here. Can’t wait to come back!
Normally when I come here I absolutely love this place. Not today however. I was left disappointed and hungry. I was supposed to have a fun girls night with my sister and her friend. I called to make a reservation and was sat the bar?! I called to make sure we could have a table and we did not. After ordering our food we waited a good while, the food was great. However when we were asked if we wanted more my sister said that she wanted another role because she has only had gotten one to try it. The man at the front was rude turning us down of our food. I understand being busy but it’s a sushi role. I don’t think I will be coming here just because it was terrible customer service….
My significant other and I are visiting out of state.We went in to get a table. The male hostess was about to seat us when the sushi chef from behind the counter asked how we were and then proceeded to shout at us "I don't want to handle anymore." When we asked when he would be more free, he said he wouldn't serve us. So we left. Never ever ever have I ever been to a sushi place that was so unpleasant and disrespectful. I hope no one supports a place like this and goes to a sushi place that is kinder to people.
