As a new arrival to the Richmond area, I have been trying out restaurants. I hoped to find barbecue near me, and up came Virginia Barbecue.I initially tried the Pork barbecue platter with baked beans and cole slaw. Loved all of it!Next, I decided to try the hot dog combo with baked beans and green beans. Yum!I love the food, the service, and the menu!
Bbq you have never tasted before. Food is great and you got to try their corn bread muffin.
Had the NC BBQ combo with fries and beans. Excellent food, great price fast service. Location is a gem.
Absolutely my new "go to for bbq". Very fast (as BBQ should be). VERY good. Portions were plentiful.
Today was my second time coming, first time was really good. The lady at the front has been been very nice both times. Great customer service. Today I had chicken bbq and tried the South carolina bbq sauce which was the first and it was amazing. The baked beans and green beans are by far my favorite thing. Oh and the cornbread -Amazing! I will be back! :)
Stopped in on my way home from south Carolina nine minutes off the high way . I had the sampler platter she had the pulled chicken sandwich with collard greens and potatoe salad it was all really good great flavor.they have picnic tables on the side of the store were you can sit out side and eat which was good for us because we had are dog with us.food prices were very good food portions was great. looking for good bbq and an easy stop of the highway this is the spot
So I stopped by Virginia Barbeque because I had a taste for something different and it was probably the best barbecue I ever had. It wasnt too expensive and It had alot of flavor. Just wish they didn't close so early. Definitely recommend going there.
Has the management changed over in this business. The food was horrible, full rack of ribs all dried out, barbecue sandwiches we're cold. Hush puppies were cold. The potato salad was good. I had to take out order, I had to wait in line behind four or five men while they ordered their food and received it. Why my foodsat in the back didn' t even colder. Yes I would like a refund you have my credit card receipt
