Came here for brunch because the menu looked great and some different flavors. Took a while for our server to get to our table; then when we returned her question with “doing well, how are you” she seemed underwhelmed and said “….managing I guess”. That should have been our first sign to turn away, but we all have rough days. She brought back water but seemed very preoccupied. We ordered the Chesapeake omelette and the Pulled Pork Benedict. Took around an hour to get our food and she made a couple comments about how “the other food before yours is up; but yours hasn’t been put out yet” and “I’m going to check on your food, it should have come out a while ago”. Places get backed up, I’ve worked in the industry, but it was definitely a bit odd. We received our food and there was absolutely zero flavor. The textures were present but the pork was dry and unseasoned; the sriracha hollandaise had no heat, and the egg was over cooked and rubbery, like a marshmallow. Had to nearly drown my hash browns in salt and pepper. The biscuit (even though it stated it was suppose to be on an English muffin), was tough and overcooked. I wanted to believe that maybe I had just made a bad choice of dish; until my friend mentioned hers was awful as well and didn’t have any flavor and seemed dry. Tried a bit of her Chesapeake omelette and the only notable taste was the onion, which was barely cooked and crunchy. The crab and shrimp tasted old and bland. $50 wasted unfortunately. The ideas of the dishes are definitely solid, but the execution was heinous. Won’t be back.

Wife and I went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is interesting and offers something for everyone. I tried the chicken pesto ciabatta sandwich and my wife had the turkey avocado. Both were awesome! The sweet potato tots are amazing. Great variety of craft beer and artisan cocktails. Staff was excellent, and service was speedy. Happy we found this gem!

I’ve gotta say that this was an incredible place to come for brunch/lunch. Each of us ordered something different to try it all. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was made *perfectly*. The outside was crusted well and the inside melted into your mouth. The spicy was incredibly balanced as it was good but not too spicy.I also tried some tastes of the Parmesan truffle fries (they were top tier) and the chorizo burritos were to die for. I got the Oreo cake and some banana pudding for dessert. I usually don’t eat that much, but given how good all of the food was, I wanted to try a little bit of everything. The server was also extraordinary. It was cool to watch him match our order to a T without ever writing down a single word (except for one person getting hash browns instead of tots in a 5 group party). It had an amazing atmosphere. It had TV’s (playing surf channel), but it wasn’t in your face. It felt like a more relaxed and chilled out bar atmosphere. The only real drawback was the price. Of course, that’s expected from an upper scale restaurant, it was decently pricey.Overall, would highly recommend you try this place if you’re in the area

Margaritas for happy hour excellent. The mushroom bowl delicious. The turkey burger was awesome. The key lime pie to die and the service was amazing. My tree nut allergy daughter got a special tree nut free ice cream sandwich even. The whole team was amazing. Great service.

Ended up at this place by accident. My car was in the shop for repairs when the city shut the place down for a gas leak. Needed somewhere to spend a few hours. Glad I did! For the longest time I didn't even know this place was a Pub, but then you would not think it was given its unassuming strip small location.Walking in you are instantly transported out of Suburbia and into a very nicely furnished wood paneled bar and dining area. Staff were very attentive and polite, and happy hour goes from open to dinner time. Yay! I went basic and ordered the burger, and it was so good I had to take a picture. Excellent presentation, right amount of meat to bun and topping ratio, and the bun was delicious. All the little things that set great burgers apart from something you expect to find at a fast food joint. Even better, the fries were also delicious and not your generic frozen crinkled you would usually expect. Considering how busy the place was for lunch I can only conclude the other items were just as popular. Everyone around me seemed to have ordered a good mix, and the place was packed on a Thursday afternoon.Excellent establishment, with a keen attention for detail. It's the little things that set places apart. Even more tempting had it not been so early was their massive selection of whiskey. They have alot, and the discerning eye noticed a couple bottles that are hard to find. The owner of this establishment is clearly a man of culture and taste. My one minor gripe was that the music volume was a tad too loud for a Thursday afternoon lunch, but that is a gimme and probably a result of a staffer fat fingerings the button. 5 stars!

I’ve been here many times and it’s always a great experience! Excellent food, great drinks. The mimosas are wonderful and the biscuits and gravy are delicious!!

I learned that this is a locally-owned restaurant with a second location in the Midlothian area on Winterfield Road in the Midlothian area. Quickly seated and greeted. Menu offers a wide variety of options from sandwiches to entrees. Food was just fine and fries appear to be freshly hand cut. Prices are $15 and up. Located in a strip shopping center near Publix. Music was a bit too loud. Recommend giving it a try.?

Food and drink options are quite diverse and satisfying. Everything was well prepared, hot, and delicious.Seating - NOT size inclusive. All are bolted down (save 8 seats up front) with no flexibility to adjust for taller or larger customers. And what about disabled customers? ??‍♀️ Kind of sent a message that only hip and happening folks are welcome. (Thus, 4 rather than 5 ?)All in all, I'd still recommend Toast to other diners. I'd like to try them again as well, but probably for take-out or delivery via GrubHub. That way I can enjoy their self-described comfort food in my own comfortable environment.

A classic RVA bar and grill with some fun options. A few items of note here and there but not a wow experience by any means. 2 entrees and 4 drinks ran us $90 with 20% tip.TLDR: If you want a clean and tasty bar experience with quality American fair and atmosphere not centered around TVs this is a good option. Tots, brussel sprouts, and the smoked old fashion are great. Solid choice for happy hour. It's good, but not our date night go to. We like to go there before escape rooms as Ravenchase.Food: It's classic Americana food options with small twists here and there. Nachos (most options honestly)are massive so be prepared. We've eaten here over a half dozen times. The food stands up to its price point for the most part. Never disappointed really.Apps: They come in large portions which is nice. An app and a drink here makes for a fun happy hour. Crab nachos are great.Drinks: This is where they shine. Lots of local craft beers. New cocktails rotated out regularly. You'll always have an option. Maybe a little pricey but they are good.Dessert: Haven't tried them so I don't want to comment.Atmosphere: It's a bar, but cleaner. Nothing thrilling but thankfully not centered around sportsball.Staff: They are very friendly and attentive.

Good brunch choice- drink prices are okay. Menu is full of plenty of options. They filled up quickly.
