I’ve heard really good things about this restaurant from friends so I was excited to finally eat here. I ordered the drunken noodles and they were not good. I was super excited because I could smell them through the bag but when I tasted it they were bland and the noodles had a weird almost sour after taste. The portion size was good and the chicken in the dish didn’t taste weird, just the noodles, but this definitely did not hit the spot for me.
I am not sure why this little place wasn't packed. Food was terrific. If back in Richmond I'll definitely try again.
Best Thai food in Virginia. The crispy basil duck is amazing. The service is wonderful.
I was perplexed with the ratings for this place as some were very complementary and some were unhappy - and I now understand why. I got the Hor Mok Gai and the Massaman Curry. I tried the Hor Mok Gai and it was amazing. A very unique dish that was savory, tasty, and full of vegetables and great chicken. I was blown away. Then I tried the Massaman curry and understood why some diners were unhappy. The carrots were clearly frozen vegetables and the portion size seemed small for the price. I was already planning to add some stir fry veggies I already made to the massaman to have as a large lunch for the next day and I'm glad I did. Adding my own vegetables made the dish a lot better. I think using fresh carrots instead of frozen would've gone a long way to make it better. I ordered online and picked up in the restaurant. The staff member was very polite and the interior was nice. The food tipped over in my car and none of it spilled so I know they did a great job packaging it.
This place is amazing, food is greatingredients are fresh. Definitely worth it
The good was that they were one of the few Richmond Thai Restaurants which offered duck and the Thai iced tea was the least expensive around. Too sweet was the Chicken Rama curry and too salty was the Crispy duck sauce. The broccoli and green beans were under cooked. Meh.
My favorite Thai food place .. their lunch combos are pocket friendly and yummy.. Ginger perfect chicken is a must try item in their menu..
Exquisite, Elegant, Beautiful Thai cuisine. The food is poetic. The flavor of tradition and history. 10 Stars.........
I am so glad they opened their dine in back! Hands down my favorite Thai place in and around Richmond. The food was perfectly cooked, the server is very friendly. The lunch is served with a soup or a salad. Their Thai Tea is really yumm too!! 5/5 for this one. Been to a lot of Thai places - Chedar, Thai Diner, Ratee thai etc. but nothing can be compared to the food you get here!
1st timers here. Wasn't disappointed! Our waitress was helpful with recommendations & top notch. Food was excellent! We will return.
