WARNING: 20% mandatory fee. Tio Pablo attached a Mandatory 20% fee to my ToGo Order. I consider this a DECEPTIVE PRACTICE as they do NOT tell you this when you place your order. By the time you add their FEE and TAX (admittedly out of their control) you are paying MORE than 33% over the advertised price. Additionally, the sides you get included with the item are very very small. The potatoes on the left were a separate item while the ones on the right were the included side for my entree. Neither one is very large, but the side for the entree is downright tiny.The food is good, but not worth the anger I felt over the entire transaction. If you are going to have a 20% mandatory fee for ALL food delivered OR picked up then just increase your prices. I would not be mad if that was the case. Yes, I would have ordered less food to keep my bill within budget, but you would have had a customer that sang about how good the food was, not how deceptive your pricing practice is.
The food was not good at all. The drinks were overly price which had no alcohol content in it. I promise you it will not sneak up on you. You would be sitting there thinking I'm going to taste it. I asked the waiter if They were non alcoholic drinks she says no. If it was They it was half a shot. Food had more lettuce then anything in it. Over all wasted about $30 on drinks and a automatic tip.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews. But should’ve listened to all the other reviews that talk about a lack of flavor. Yes the food is gluten free, but is it flavor free too? Service was somewhat slow and food came out warm and not hot. it was probably sitting for awhile before it got to our table. Also note, they had a 20% service charge to your bill automatically so idk they prob be getting stiffed on tips because the food and service is so mid.
Great food, great fast service, fun environment! I highly recommend and plan on making this a weekly spot for here on out.
Their food slays 10/10. Last time we were in Richmond, we liked this so much that we made a stop in Richmond just to have lunch here! Not only is the food that good, this spot is like 30 seconds off of Highway 95. Very convenient and well worth a spot if you are in Richmond or just passing by. Their breakfast AND lunch is fantastic. No bad choices on the menu, although I must say I was not yet brave enough for the cow tongue ?.
Good service. Cool atmosphere. Not enough flavor on the tacos I tried about 5 different kind of tacos all were lacking flavor/moisture. The sauces/salsas were okay, needed more just like the rest of the food.
Insanely good Mexican food, including a lot of dishes (like elote — street corn) you can’t find everywhere. Very nice manager and the food was delicious and order was exactly right. Everything there is celiac-safe and gluten free (except the beer), including the fantastic cocktails.
Tio Pablo is great. The staff is really kind, and everything is gluten free!!! The food is amazing, too. Whatever you choose off the menu, you're guaranteed to have a good meal!
Extensive home made flavored margaritas! Mango margarita was especially delicious. Although they have daily specials, they no longer seem to have happy hours.
Tasty food. Good service. This is a nice find in Shockoe Bottom. We shared a pollo quesadilla and the split it to two plates for us. We also shared a slice of their tres leches cake (pictured). We’d go back.
