Absolutely love this location! So cute and quaint and obvi the food is amazing. Shout to Seneca for her great service!

Every time I come into this location I’m overtaken by a sense of ease and comfort- the perfect relaxing vibe for a juice bar. The staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome even amidst working. I’ve known Shey at this location for a year now and she is always attentive and chipper- an excellent addition to the fine coterie that make this Pit and the Peel the best around.

We arrived at the establishment 30 minutes before closing time(verified by Google and the sign posted on the window), only to be greeted by a locked door. I could see a young girl cleaning up inside, so I knocked on the door. The girl responded by hiding (yes literally hiding, I could see her duck behind the counter and peek out from time to time). After I knocked on the door a few more times, the young girl finally came to the door, but did not open it. She spoke to us through the closed glass door, and I think she tried to inform us that they were closing early, but I can't be sure because I couldn't hear her well and she was too lazy and/or nasty to open the door and speak to us like human beings. I tried to say to her that the hours listed show that the business should still be open at this time. There was no sign posted on the door to inform customers of this sudden and unexpected change in hours, and I was looking forward to getting a smoothie. The girl seemed like a typical entitled American airhead with a degree in gender studies or something equally worthless. She was clearly utterly unconcerned about the fact that we were potential customers who selected this business as a place to spend our money. A little customer service would have gone a long way. Taking five seconds to actually open the door and give us a reasonable explanation for why the business was closing early was both an easy way to show good customer service and also the best thing to do to retain clientele. She showed no empathy or concern for the fact that there was no sign informing potential customers as to why the business was closed early. Her expression was one of total disdain, her behavior incredibly inconsiderate and rude. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Don't support businesses who are actively hostile to their potential customers. Pass this place by and head straight to Beet Box.

From interacting with the god awful girl up front to the smoothie that tasted like feet, I wish I could give this place no stars. The girl that took my order was so rude and clearly hated her job. I understand service workers are tired, I really do, but come on. I watched her interact with multiple customers and she never once smiled. She did however have no problem going on and on about how her friend is gaining weight and the text she got from some guy while talking to the other female employee. Got the dreamsicle smoothie and it was disgusting.

Usually not picky but for $10 smoothies there should be some consistency- they definitely need to hire a line cook and a back end team instead of college aged cashiers who have little food prep experience.every time i go I'm really disappointed by the quality of the food (they use grocery store bagels and poor quality meats), even simpler acai bowls are watery and use frozen ingredients

Seriously the BEST acai I have ever had… it’s fresh yall.. like they make it right in front of you… normally I eat all the toppings and I’m done, I was digging to the bottom it was so good!

Very surprised by first order here asthree of our sandwiches were made with bread butts and condiments were not spread but just kind of plopped in the middle of sandwich. chicken quesadilla was missing chicken on half of it. smoothie was wonderful

Worst açaí bowl I’ve had in my life? for 30 bucks for 2 bowls this place is not it. Still frozen and very soupy, I would head somewhere else in carytown.

the quality of this place has really gone down. I use to be a huge fan but now the smoothie bowls are premade and weird consistency. they got rid of a lot of good options for bowls as well.

Açaí bowl was disgusting. They do not blend the ice so it was basically watered down OJ and açaí over ice. Makes it really difficult to eat as you keep getting chunks of ice you have to chomp on. I paid for granola and they forgot it and I found a clump of almond butter at the very bottom of my bowl which was mostly frozen and tasted old and like cardboard. Very small amount of fruit as well. I poured the entire bowl down the sink.
