The Pit and the Peel is always a refreshing stop on a hot day! I love the house açaí bowl. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is casual, clean, and welcoming. One of my favorite dependable spots in town.
Ive been going here for years and they always do it right! You cant go wrong with the smoothie bowls and they have great entree dishes as well. Definitely go here if youre looking for a quick healthy bite.
Was really excited to try out the rooftop, but the food and drinks were just not good at all. We ordered Moscow Mules, and they tasted like nothing but lime juice. The pulled pork tacos tasted like microwaved pulled pork heavily seasoned with pepper. The toppings tasted pretty good, but couldn’t eat more than 2 bites of the pork. The place is cute, but menu definitely needs some attention
I've had a wonderful experience at the rooftop bar. The service is extremely polite and friendly. Gigi was very helpful and brought our food upstairs. The food came out fast and tasted really good. The bar tender, Ellie made sure to greet us as soon as we walked in and gave great drink recommendations.
The Pit and the Peel Rooftop is the perfect spot for students and locals alike. Amazing food, great smoothies, and even better customer service. All the employees at this location, especially Gigi, go above-and-beyond to ensure you have the best experience. I always leave with a smile! Highly recommend visiting!

The green detox juice and fruit juices are superb.We loved it.I surely recommend this place if you are more compelled to get a healthy meal.This place wouldn’t let you down at anytime.
Worst Service Ever!! Never Received Our Fire For S'mores..Never Received Drinks Ordered. Food Was Cold. Server Was Mean, Rude & Lied About Being The Manager. We Watched Our Server Serve Everyone But Us.. We Felt Unwelcome & Disrespected.All 3 of Our orders Were Completely Refuded Due To The Horrible Way We Were Treated, By Staff.100% DO NOT RECOMMEND
