Deliciously creative pizza options and a wide list of beer thanks to the attached bottle shop!We came on a father's day for lunch and the restaurant was quiet, with only one outgoing delivery and one other group showing up during our visit. I think we missed out on the breakfast pizza, which seems to be highly recommend on Google and Reddit reviews. The bottle shop looked to be low on stock with some space on the shelves, but I was happy with the available selection ranging from local craft beer to cases of imports.I can guarantee that I will be back soon, since my curiosity was piqued by the range of pizza options and the daily specials.

The place is great and we were pleasantly surprised with the experience. There is a beer shop connected with the restaurant. The beer selection is vast and diverse. The food is great and the service is decent. The outside seating area is wonderful. The parking area is very, very small so you may need to park on the street within a residential neighborhood.

We stop by for a quick bite to eat. The patio space was nice but.it was a little windy, so we decided to dine in. The young man behind the bar helped us right away. He was very informative about the local breweries. I had a cider that I loved. We ordered a grandma style pizza and Korean BBQ wings. I enjoyed everything and recommend this cute spot.

On of the girls i use to work with for a birthday lunch i had the pepperoni and sauage pizza it was really good. Staff there was great. That was my 1st time there it was my birthday saturday february 12th 2022 its a nice pizza place

I usually don't like to give bad reviews, but I paid $29 for this gluten free vegan pizza (including an extra $4 for additional vegan cheese) and this is what we got. The other pizzas we got were lacking on the vegan cheese front as well. Definitely not worth the price.

Been going to the Hop for at least a year, and the first pizza we ever ordered, the Golden Girl, was so delicious that we never ordered a different type till last night. The Golden Girl is still our favorite, with hand crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil on a "grandma" crust. But the Sicilian crust with shredded mozz, jalapenos, and mushrooms was solid too! The veg was really fresh and flavorful on the pizza. The service is always cheerful, and the beer-and-a-shot on the menu is a good deal. Definitely recommend--though be sure to pick up your pizza on time or eat there; the thicker crusts can get kinda chewy if they have time to cool.

Best pizza I’ve had in Richmond! Got the Special Pie “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead” (hand-tossed, whole milk mozzarella, parm, ratatouille, sweet basil) and it was heaven on earth HIGHLY RECOMMEND

First time so was surprised by the presentation overall. Burned crust on one end of the pizza. The garlic bread was completely burnt with the crust almost rock hard; looked almost artificial. Pizza was on par with chains but with better toppings with dough a bit more airy and not as greasy. On par with Pizza Hut in its heyday. Sorta bummed for $38ish bucks with the appetizer and part of pizza torched. Overall if size is the name of the game prob come here pizza was huge. Pizza taste was a 6. Garlic bread was a 0 couldn’t even get a bite. Service was good and polite even took the recommendation of the clerk when ordering. Wasn’t busy.

I placed my order through Grubhub, so I’m not sure if the delivery instructions are visible to your drivers, but they were certainly not followed. My order consisted of two items: a pizza and the Spinach and Beer cheese. The pizza was alright. When you can head down the street to Mellow Mushroom and get a fantastic pizza for only a few dollars more, the $20 pizza I got seems like a waste. It was certainly edible, but the toppings weren’t well-distributed and it was burned.I may have been making an assumption when I ordered the beer cheese, but I was expecting a hot (or at least warm) cheese dip with my tortilla chips. The cheese was so cold that the stale chips it came with crumbled when I tried to scoop it. It guess I was expecting optimal queso temp instead of beer temp.I do have to say that, when compared to most of the local options, this one is still pretty good. The delivery was faster than advertised and, again, the pizza was alright. It just needs a little more attention to detail (and maybe some temperature control) to put it over the top.

Ordered the Vegan Unmoo Frankenpizza. The Sicilian crust was perfect and thick. The vegan cheese, pepperoni, and Italian sausage were all delicious toppings. 1st time ordering pizza from here and it definitely won't be the last.
