We provide lunch for our office staff every Tuesday and order from different businesses. This is the 3rd time that we have ordered takeout from Greek Taverna. The food is hot, delicious and the portions are very generous. This is definitely on our list of Favorites.
Maybe the best Greek cuisine in Richmond! Fresh, "made from scratch" fare from the bread to the avegolemono soup to the dessert. Cat, our server, was superb. The owner was quite pleasant. There are also happy hour specials that last until 7:30pm. Can't miss with this restaurant choice!
We ordered a quick to go order, which was ready in about 15 min. Food was great, service was prompt, portion sizes were very good. I liked the vibe and the beautifully-decorated dining room. I hope to try dining in here some time.
Staff was friendly and personable. Restaurant is clean and invitinf. The open faced gyro was okay. The meat was nothing really special compared to other places I have tried previously, but the beans for a side were really great. Taziki sauce was great. Menu has a lot of options, I'd go back to try more.
Fantastic! Solid and savory. Terrific service. Homemade. Just remarkable. Party of 7 & every single one of us loved our meal. Portions of the pasta dishes are ridiculously amazingly huge. And delicious. And the desserts! Just unreal.
Awful. The service was good, the bread was good, the rest of the meal was terrible. My husband's pork was almost raw, the potatoes clearly leftovers reheated, the green beans flat and tasteless. My chicken lemon soup tasted suspiciously canned, my Greek style pasta was bland and flat tasting. Don't waste your money until the cooks learn to cook.
Great owners and food! My coworker and I had lunch here since we were in the area. Food was great, I had the chicken soulvalaki and they had the gyro sandy we both agreed we would be back when we go back to the area. Great atmosphere and aesthetic as well inside, when you walk in on the right is a collage of the family and I just thought that was so cute and such a nice touch. Great appreciation for small business and especially family run ones. ???

Today was my first time ever eating here. They have great customer service one of the owners placed my order as soon as I walked in. I only waited 10 min for my food and it was hot and delicious. Would definitely be eating here again.
It was nice atmosphere, my girlfriend really enjoyed herself and mentioned that you get your money worth here!! The owner's are the best and genuine towards there customers. I definitely recommend this restaurant. And with that being said, i'll be back soon
