Fantastic beer program with something for everyone, with an equally fantastic staff. Food is on point as well.
Busy brewpub with a vast selection. Went in and filled out the form to get some flights of beer. On the flights tried out fruit and IPA selections. Everything was good. Staff was polite and ready to help. Food is came out quickly and made to order. Plenty of parking out in the back indoor and outdoor seating. Nice place with a good atmosphere.
The variety of drinks here are amazing. As one of the first breweries I've been too in Richmond, I can definitely say I'll be coming back on my visits to the city. The sours/fruit beers here are delicious and they have a big selection to choose from. I ended up bringing home a few 4-packs home as well!If it's your first time here, I'd recommend getting a flight to get started. I had a few beers from "The Joose", and they were all amazing. My favorite wasQuad Mother of Mango Swirlsicle: Pink Guava. I heard stouts here are worth trying too, I'm just more of a sour person.I'd highly recommend giving this place a try if you're ever in Scott's.
The Answer:Visited on a Sunday evening planning drinks and a late dinner about one hour before the stated closing time. Unfortunately we learned the kitchen closed early, perhaps since they were slow that evening. So, word of caution: The Answer's kitchen may be unexpectedly closed on slow days. For the drinks: great variety of good beers, I recommend. But do not count on being able to enjoy food.
Beer was good, good spot overall size and vibe, but service was mediocre, waited a long time to get each beer, and we were sitting at the bar, that's my only complaint as the beers were good, but just disappointed no one was getting us drinks when we were empty
great stop, good food and even better beer. Carissa was awesome and rest of staff great too. definitely added to list of Richmond stops!!
