Hands down some of THE BEST FOOD I’ve had in such a looooong time!!!!!!! There are no pictures to share bc I got too excited and INHALED my items. The guacamole was the best I’ve ever had - EVER. Might be a little too salty for some people but I fought my husband for the last dollop - and he’s not even a huge fan of guacamole. Don’t skim in the $8 chips and salsa - it’s worth it. Imma gain a lot of weight now that I know about this place!!!!
Had a great experience with Taqueria Y Antojitos El Chido. Cruz, the owner, was pleasant to work with and delivered what he said he would. We hired the Taco Truck for a party of 100 people. All of the guests were raving about how good the food was. I would highly recommend El Chido if you need a taco truck or want good food at a good price for dine in.
This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the carne asada tostada, birria taco and al pastor taco. All delicious especially the birria. I cant wait to go again and try the torta sandwiches.
The. Hype. Is. Real. Probably the best tacos I have ever had by a long shot. Perfectly prepared birria tacos, delicious consomme, and an amazing blend of flavors all around. Got a chicken, carnitas, and chorizo taco. Highly recommend all three. Will likely have to stop myself from going back multiple times a week.

I was super excited El Chido opened near my sons school in Henrico. I am a big fan of their original location on Staples Mill Rd near Willow Lawn. They have a huge selection of real Mexican food. This isn’t Tex mex with chimichangas or food with yellow cheese. The menu is extensive with tacos, gorditas, huaraches, birria, and if you are really hungry ,order Tortas. I ordered 3 tacos of steak, chicharron, and carnitas. All 3 tacos were delicious and were $3 each. The tacos are packed with flavorful meat onion, cilantro , and cabbage. I’m not a fan of the cabbage and they tend to add it to everything so I recommend asking for no cabbage. The gas station looks tiny from the outside but is bigger than it looks and the ordering counter is inside to the right. Ordering is easy(can also order online) and they actually bring the food to the car when it’s ready. There are a couple outdoor tables to the side so you can enjoy the food outside as there isn’t any seating inside ….Simply this is authentic Mexican food , for a good value , and with easy ordering and pick up. Perfecto!
