Seating is very limited here with a handful of tables and then there's the bar seating that's at the bar and along the wall. We took the bar seating along the wall which felt cramped next to a table with other guests. The hostess was polite and brought water to us while we waited to order. There does seem to be a takeout option if you don't want to dine in or there's no place to sit. We waited a little while before our drinks and order was taken. Overall the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We got the curry, shrimp tempura udon, and an order of beef gyoza that all came out quickly.I'd like to come back and enjoy the food at an actual table. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and casual.
I had no idea there was a ramen place so close to my house. My son & I went here for a dinner together on Mothers Day. We were seated right away, and they brought out a bottle of water with glasses while we ordered. The menu is digital. We ordered an appetizer, vegetable rolls that were piping hot and tasted so fresh and good. They were yummy dipped in the duck sauce. My entree was a Ramen with soy milk. The server asked if we wanted a fork, or chopsticks, and I decided to be adventurous and use only chopsticks. To my surprise, I did pretty well lol... they were not as hard as I anticipated. The dining area is a lil dark, and the table & chairs are kind of low to the floor but overall, I enjoyed everything and would go back for sure.
Had a huge bowl of Spicy Miso Ramen that really hit the spot down to the last drop, but I can never resist an order of fried oysters at a ramen shop...they're HUGE and come out piping hot from the fryer. The atmosphere is clean + warm + cozy and the service was on point. My go-to for Richmond ramen.
I got the signature spicy soy wings, and chicken miso ramen ... it was so good, and the spicy level was actually spicy unlike some other places ... The vibes in here are on point, not too bright, not too loud. Its definitely a great first time ramen experience. I will be coming back.
Something little bit more different and more unique. Little cozy place that makes your experience little bit more special. Great service, distinctive tastes and nice ambiance.
Great food and service! Appetizers were great. Will definitely return, there are lots of other things I'd love to try.
Got the calamari taste prefrozen. There seaweed salad is vary flavorful though
Super cute, hidden gem in Henrico, the pork fried rice was amazing !!!! The ramen was really good as well, it was my first time having ramen so I don't know what to compare it to, but it was delicious ! Customer service was lovely and there is plenty of parking !
We have been taking aCarry out as well as Eating here for the last three years at least.Food and the staff is amazing till today !!!We have been asking for paper bags rather then non recyclable plastic bags which leaks to our cars & and are terrible for the nature for months at takara Ramen .FINALLY Manager named JON walked up this evening toMe at the register and told me to stop complaining About non recycling plastic bags And paper bags ere basically out of Question. He made a point to tell me that it’s non sense to keep asking About recycling paper bags. I felt he was basically telling me to stop or else in a scaryThreatening way.I assume patrons have to watch out for what they ask takara Ramen HenricoIn case Jon sorts them out !
