I enjoyed the sushi and will definately come back. The $21 dinner all you can eat isn't a reasonable price. Appetizers (in taste and selection) and hibachi/grill orders (in taste) were a weak point, and it would be nice if there were a few dessert options. I mostly give it 4 stars because the many sushi rolls all sound like they have the same descriptions over and over - I believe they would highly benefit from a picture menu to show the different rolls are actually different. All the specialty rolls we ate did taste excellent. The waitress was running her tail off and gave us great service.
This sushi king is the worst by far. They serve the appetizers cold and hard. If you ask them to reheat it they get an attitude with you. The managers were extremely rude and basically blames us for the cold food. They made so many excuses and it was a horrible experience.The servers are rude as well. I would recommend you drive to the Hull Street or Midlothian Sushi King instead of this one. Save yourself the trouble and don’t go to the west broad sushi.
Sushi was great. The service and wait were not good. Originally told 30 minutes but took 1 1/2 hours for us to get a table. Others who came in after us were seated first.
The food quality is really good here. I only have it four stars because the wait time for a table was almost two hours. Short staffed I guess. Waitress was pleasant and mostly got the orders correct. All in all a great experience.
We've been dining at Syshi King for years but my family and I really like this location. They're faster in service and has friendlier servers. Also the wait her isn't too bad on the weekends but I do suggest you come a little earlier to be seated faster. Great all you can eat sushi that maybe not too authentic but definitely hits the spot. We recommend the Volcano roll if u like the spicier side and shimp tempura is great too!
It's a great place for sushii!! I went there alot of times and enjoyed it every time! Staff are polite and the restaurant seems clean! Thier sushi options are amazing and tastes good for the price! It's a sushi buffet but the quality is fairly good! A great place to hangout with friends and family who are sushi lovers! 100% recommend ? I just missed the appetizer bar by they closed it because of Covid-19 which It's understandable but you can still ask the waiters for the same items and they'll bring it to you!
I’m visiting my sister who has lived in the area for years, I decided to surprise her and her family with sushi and ordered about $115 worth of food for us. When I arrived they said our food was taken by someone else and to take it up with doordash, I said they didn’t have a full refund option and if they could 1. Remake our food (No) or 2. Contact doordash themselves since it was their fault and I couldn’t get the full refund myself. Instead they called the cops on me immediately and 4 cops came in soon after asking what happened. I explained to the cops that I was sorry they got involved in a doordash conflict and that I was really uncomfortable in this situation because all I’m looking for is my refund, immediately the staff contacted doordash and refunded me AFTER they contacted the cops(?) and just made me feel completely helpless and upped the situation to something huge over a mistake they made. Later on they told the cops they never made our food at all, so they created a very uncomfortable situation for me and also contacted police over a mistake of theirs which could’ve easily been resolved by them. I’m shook up by it, yes I got my refund after a lot of hassle but going to pick up food, especially over $100 worth, should never end in such a stressful situation. I’m so so upset and still confused and distraught by everything that happened and me and my family have no dinner at 10pm. I’ve never been in a situation like this before and I’m in the restaurant industry so there’s no way someone should be able to take an order that’s not theirs without the approval of staff. I’m disappointed, stressed out and hungry.
Honestly, I’m shocked. My family is here to visit for the holidays. They spent over $110 for a *pick up• order from Sushi King via DoorDash. They get there and to paraphrase, the guy basically says “Sorry, we gave your food to a DoorDasher.” ??♂️ They refused his request to have his order remade for him and refused a full refund. So basically, my family paid over $100 for food that was never made for them. ThesePeople had the audacity to call the COPS on my family, just because they paid a lot of mo eg and never received their oder.
Super delicious food! It's pricey to say the least. The service has never been bad. They offer soups, hibachi and sushi in their one price "buffet". They make the food and bring it out to you. There isn't an island of food where everyone uses the same utensil for serving. The restaurant is always clean and friendly. Low lighting makes for a calming atmosphere. Love this place!
Volcano Roll????This is the worst roll I’ve ever see in my entire life.How can you guys serve this?? This is the most disrespectful situation I’ve ever go through about food.Come on guys! I don’t care you do not respect me, at least show some respect for the food.
