THE BEST. the owner is so nice, the food they have is so good and a lot of their options i don’t see anywhere else. The bagel sandwhiches they have are amazing and so freshly made. Please try the rosemary brown sugar sea salt latte, you won’t be sorry. Picture is the loaded bagel with sprouts on it. It has this amazing basil-tomato topping that I would sell my left arm for. so good.
I was craving breakfast during my visit and love supporting the locals, and Surrounding Counties didn’t disappoint. They had so many offerings and I’d definitely come back anytime I’m on this side of town. We got the homemade cheese danish, a savory egg and cheese kolache, and an order of grits. It was hot, fresh, and delicious, which totally hit the spot. Do yourself a favor and check them out y’all!
Soo good! Kolaches were amazing (we got the BBQ jackfruit and I normally don’t like jackfruit) and the bagels are on point! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and amazing coffee. Definitely will be back!
Such a fun, eclectic, little hidden gem. Hippie vibes, vinyls setting the musicsphere, and plenty of comics, table books, and art to spark conversation. The food was on point too! Plenty of choices for those with food allergies and restrictions/ preferences to still have choices. Beautiful selection of coffees and teas from local and exotic places.
Came here for lunch/ brunch on Sunday. They have a nice size menu. After thinking on it, we decided to go with the salmon and grits as well as some Sunshine tea and chai latte.The Ultimate grits were delicious! They are the poke bowl of grits. I also enjoyed their chai latte— yum. Laidback and casual atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely cafe.
Stopped by as part of Vegan 72 and had an incredible kolache. Service was wonderful. Owners are very welcoming! The shop was super cute with lots of plants, pottery, and even a turntable working hard behind the counter. Fun vibe. Looking forward to stopping by again soon!
Had some bagel sandwiches and coffee to go. Lox bagel was incredible and is open faced as it should be. Dressed up well. Drip coffee was pretty good and they have some good beans. Will try iced next time.
Fantastic local spot. Really good coffee, the kolaches are delicious, and the folks running the place are incredibly warm and friendly. It's god a great vibe inside, too. I was recently complaining at the lack of a good coffee spot nearby, but I won't be complaining any more. I will 100% be visiting this on a regular basis, and I hope the community continues to spread the word and support them. Great place!
Went for the first time today and got a Texas kolache. It was super delicious and I would bring friends back to this place. Staff were adorable, great vibe. They have a pay what you can sign up and that's admirable. Definitely a local place worth supporting!
My partner and I go here every Saturday pretty much no matter what.We always split 2 kolaches because we can never decide on just one filling! I also get the Rosemary Brown Sugar oat milk latte and my partner was skeptical at first like ‘Rosemary and espresso?’ But now they get it even more than I doPlease go here!
