Positives: the staff is very nice and helpful.Neutral: did not try any of the baked goods, so cannot comment on thoseNegatives: After the second time, I decided to write a review. I got a mocha twice and my friend and I got a mocha and a latte this time. The espresso tasted burned after both visits. My mocha was very okay, just burnt. His caramel latte tasted burnt, then like water. There was really no other flavor. Latte’s don’t always have to be sweet, but I would like another flavor except water and burned espresso. I gave them 3 stars because they seem really nice, and it’s not the worst coffee I’ve had in Richmond. I think with some minor improvements their coffee could be much better since they seem really nice and they're in a good location.
Best bakery! Coffee is superb. Pastries are delicious. Honestly everything is way better than any coffee shop/breakfast place I've ever been (trust me I've been to MANY). Seriously impressed by this place.
Not only do they keep me awake daily with their life giving coffee, but they have some of the most delicious and creative pastries in the city. If you see their vegan Chocolate Olive Oil Cake, do yourself a favor and get it. You will not be disappointed.
Great walk up coffee shop with a good selection of food such as baked goods and bagels as well as a bit of alcohol and of course amazing coffee. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and the bagels were pretty good as well! This ship also provided free ice water to anyone that asked which is definitely a plus on a hot day.
What an awesome spot! We randomly found it on a trip to town and fell in love. Mostly thanks to the awesome guy in line with us who told us about everything on the menu and exactly what to order it and how to order it (thanks Sean - staff please tell him we think he was awesome!). He recommended the drip coffee, dark roast and the breakfast sandwich on a croissant with pepper jack cheese. Literally the best sandwich. We had coffee here every day of our trip and saw our new friend, and lots of the same people in line, every day. A must stop!
Delicious coffee and pastries. Friendly staff. As of this posting they are still only doing curbside orders right at the door - there is no inside access for customers. Not a problem as just a few steps away past the Byrd there is some free seating and benches near the Area 10 building.
Great coffee and delicious baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Staff is very nice. The blackberry cinnamon muffin was perfect.
A popular walk-up cafe that serves all of your favorite coffee drinks. Mines a vanilla latte. They also have an assortment of pastries and some wine and beer.Mornings and the weekends are the busiest, so to beat the rush, go early in the am.
There is no inside! Only order at door currently. Not my cup of tea (or cup of coffee). Ordered 2 iced coffees both vanilla and said “please make one the sweetest possible” both coffees were extremely unsweet. Probably good if you like black coffee. Served me a cheddar biscuit because i ordered it expecting a hot cheese biscuit and it was the absolute opposite. It was cold and had no resemblance to cheese at all. Bagel was really good so that saved the day. Except one of our bagels was missing its avocado and cream cheese, but at least they added arugula? Not sure why that was on there
The Chai Latte here doesn't taste as good as other places, but the prices are really good and they were friendly. The dine in is unavailable at the time so you have to order at the front door.
