Sugar Shack never disappoints! We have been here before and ordered a dozen of their various specialty donuts. However, we’ve been wanting to try their burgers and waffle fries. So this weekend we had to opportunity to sit outside and dine. My husband and I ordered- the plain Turkey Burger, a Classic Burger with only cheese and pickles, and two individual orders of Waffle Fries with Sea Salt. Our cousin who traveled with us, ordered the Turkey Burger and Waffle Fries with Old Bay Seasoning. They offer fountain drinks (sodas) and canned sodas and other beverages for carryout orders. You can get your drink before your meal and head outside to find a table. We had no issue locating a table. At the time we went they seemed to be more inundated with call-in/pick-up or curbside orders. So just because there weren’t a ton of people dining outside, don’t let that keep you from checking out this tasty diner. It’s a casual\\natmosphere, with very friendly staff that brings your order out to your table nicely packaged in a so there is no contact. Again everything was delicious and we will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
I ordered a vegan burger and got super ill! They cooked my burger with the REGULAR burgers! Called to leave a msg for their manager…mailbox full! Left a msg on Facebook! No response!
I frequent this location often because it’s on my way to work. But lately 9/10 times it’s a disappointment. My last visit they only had skim milk and half and half. So not latte for me that day, as I don’t drink milk. Today they had oat milk. And I had been craving an iced orange mocha latte for days. Had it numerous times, it’s almost an ombré drink when made properly. What I was given was an iced orange latte with melted ice, which is weird cause I waited for the drink, I didn’t order ahead. I asked for more mocha and watched her add two drops of syrup because apparently they were running out of mocha syrup. Shocker. Did you just not feel like going to replenish the syrup or were you actually out? Which it would have been better to just say we’re out of stock. Management has work to do at this location, Sugar Shack is better than this.
Love the donuts here. Very good and not just the type of donuts like a wacky for no reason. Even the coffee drinks are pretty good. My only issue is how small the inside is. It’s always so crowded on a weekend morning that you can barely figurw out where to order.
Donuts were not what I expected after paying ten dollars for 6! & the fruit flies that was in the donut case was unsanitary for me! First & last time trying! Krispy Kreme it is for me next time in midlothian area.
Customer service this morning was not good. I asked about their Babe Ruth donut and the girl had no idea what I was talking about. It’s too bad they don’t make it anymore bc it was amazing. I was charged $20 for a dozen vegan donuts. Def over priced for donuts.
Thought I'd give them another shot. Never been to this particular store though. Either they forgot an ingredient or the Oreo frapp is just cookies, ice and water. Weird and not good. Had another drink that was good but there was a big rubber band at the bottom. So that was a little gross too. Red velvet donut was pretty good. Best donut I've ever had from SS. I'm a little hesitant to return though.\\nKudos to the employees for being fast and friendly during rushes.
For sure, the best donut place around. I really like their style when it comes to their donuts and the toppings and ingredients that they use. The prices are pretty good for everything and the customer service is always really good. I've gone there many times and never really had an issue.
Disappointed. Gluten free doughnuts were hard and dry. Not edible. Wasted $18.
Do yourself a favor and try the Samoa donut...it tastes almost exactly like the Girl Scout cookie. I'm glad I don't live closer, otherwise I would have one 3 or 4 times a week ?
