We will be driving from Savannah to get these tacos again. I think our bank called and questioned why we had 5 charges in 30 mins at the same location- it’s because we started with just a couple - but then we couldn’t stop going back ordering more and trying all the favors …. More tacos please. ?

Outstanding food and service. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, too. Everyone should make this a must stop during their travels through Richmond.
Its was nice cozy feeling restaurant with very limited seating. Casual dining for students and for a quick snack. People were nice to talk to and were very knowledgable of their food. You order and play at the counter they will bring the food to your table when ready. We had to put our utensils back when done. Portions are very small.
It was cloudy and dreary outside, but nothing's better than some delicious tacos to brighten your day. I try to swing by Soul Taco every time I'm in the neighborhood at lunch time. The standouts on deck today we're the Buttermilk Chicken and the Gordita Crunch. Superb! ?Service is fast, friendly and welcoming.
I have been waiting to try this place for a long time. I got really sick after eating here today. It was my only meal today. Once I got home I was very ill. Please be careful of this place. Never again. I may not eat out again. It is getting too risky!

DO NOT PLACE DELIVERY ORDERS IF YOU WANT TO EAT ANY TIME SOON!!I waited 30+ minutes to pick up a delivery order. 3 people ordered after me and got food before me. Actually lost money on the trip from all the orders I couldn't accept and got kicked off delivery app for being "unresponsive"... Cashier refused to compensate or even apologize - just looked at me sideways like it was my fault. 0/10 do not recommend. Heard the food isn't even good.
I really enjoyed stopping by this establishment. Small dining area, clean restroom, vibrant music and art on the walls. Friendly staff and interesting food options. I had a buttermilk fried chicken taco and the flavors were amazing! I expected a larger serving but I realized after that I should have ordered multiple tacos to make a filling meal. That’s what the other patrons were doing. We were in and out for a quick snack though so we were happy. Very cool vibe here and fun experience.

I can't get enough of those Buttermilk Battered Fried Chicken Tacos with buttermilk battered fried chicken, pickled red onions, avocado, chipotle bbq crema, and agave hot sauce. South Texan here! If I didn't know any better I would have thought that this was from the Gulf coast. It is the perfect blend of Southern cooking and popular Mexican treats. I was so amused at the concept. I love the decorations, the staff was exceedingly friendly, the prices are fair, especially for the downtown Richmond area, and the food was great. This restaurant is also an LGBTQ+ safe space. The staff are Queer, there's RuPaul music playing in the background, and they have amateur drag shows competitions, movie screenings, and trivia nights on Saturdays. The single tacos are also large compared to a lot of people's street corn tacos. I could have eaten just the fish taco and been fine for lunch, but because it was so good I ate the elote too. I want to see one of these in Texas! Also, if you are doing pick up then you just scan the QR code rather than ordering with an employee.
