I eat out alot for years. So I'm going back and doing reviews on all the places that I normally go to. This is one of my favorite seafood/soul food spots. The fried shrimp, the house potatoes, cornbread and lemonade is straight up 5 stars. Don't forget the homemade tarter sauce. I will not even order my shrimp dinner without that tarter sauce. It is that good. I think the shrimp Alfredo might have fallen off just a tad but it was still delicious the last time I had it. I highly recommend this place if you haven't been. I been eating here for years and I put on alot of people to this spot. ???
I was a first timer. When I say the food is good that is an understatement! It is absolutely delicious. I had wingettes, fried cabbage, Mac n cheese, yams, fried white potatoes and a long island iced tea. Want some good soul food, then shrimp is it. Shoooooooottttt I might go today!!
Great experience/vibe! I had a Great Dine In Experience! Food is great, I ordered the chicken wings with Mac & Cheese with a side of yams and collards! 10/10
Popped in for lunch. Waited about 10 mins for a fresh Shrimp Po’boy. Light, flavorful and filling.Perfect little spot. Had a small bar so guessing evenings are busy. I rather liked the quietness of a late lunch.Would definitely be back

This is my second visit to this establishment. The first time, the food was actually pretty decent. It came within a timely manner and the food tasted okay. Today, I visited for the second time and it was a complete 180. The food was mediocre, they were out of condiments, and the wait time was outrageous. The staff seemed discombobulated and were all over the place. We went 20 minutes at a time without being seen by a waitress. The yams & fries are good. But, today, we had hard substances in our yams which could not be explained by the staff. And no, it was not sugar. One of my friends that was with me did not like her fried chicken. When explained to the waitress, she didn’t seem to care, and asked “can you describe what you didn’t like”. I’m not sure about y’all, but when I don’t like something..I just don’t like it lmao. I recommend the yams & fries, I guess if you come at the right time…today was not the right time for us. Hit or miss place, I wish you all the best if you plan on attending this establishment.
Called to order take out & was on hold for 20 minutes before being disconnected. Called back, ordered & was told to pay over the phone. She couldn't get my card to go through. I arrived at 5:45pm & at 5:50pm I was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes. My food wasn't ready until 6:35pm. Another lady came from the kitchen & said they were short-staffed & had 2 callouts that day. Thank goodness the food was good. Service was horrible. The young lady answering the phone isn't very personable at all.... bordering on rude.
Young lady at counter is very rude! I came to pick up a door dash order at 3:08pm. She said 15 more minutes.I said ok sat down on the bench inside waited and then at 3:25 another young lady came in clocked on and went back outside came back in and told me I had to wait outside and pointed to a sign that a customer wouldn’t see that says no waiting facing the inside of the store. However I waited over 15 minutes inside with no problem. It is now 3:35 and my order is still not ready.
The food was delicious, or server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.
