Great coffee shop in my favorite type of downtown setting. I know that having this place was the owner's dream and she has most certainly fulfilled her vision. Cute interior with unique gift items and an extensive selection of drinks. Some outdoor sidewalk seating made it a great after work stop.However, be forewarned that there is no restroom open to the public and by late afternoon most everyplace else that might allow a desperate passer-by to use their facilities was closed.I most definitely will return but perhaps 'takeaway items' would be a better choice.
Went there for the first time today and it was a lovely little place. There’s some seating outside and a long line that goes quick. You can tell that the food and drinks were made with love from how the employees made it obvious that they enjoyed what they do. I did wish that I was given a sleeve to put on my cup, cause my hands were burning the walk back to my job. I got the mocha made with oat milk and it’s delicious! Can’t wait to visit again in the future.
You ever just stumble into a small business that ends up being a new favorite? That's Sefton Coffee Company for me. The shop is so cute, cozy and welcoming. As far as food goes, get the ham & jam. Seriously, I should've filled my suitcase with them. A wonderfully fresh and flakey crossiant with fresh veggies, crisp apple slices and some of the best orange marmalade I've ever had. The tumeric honey late was also phenomenal - perfectly spiced and topped with a lovely foam. They have lots of interesting goods that I'll need to come back and check out next time I'm in the area.
Most cozy atmosphere with friendliest staff who know what they’re doing and clearly love doing it. We forgot to mention vegan milk alternative, but they caught our mistake based on our order, asking us if we’d prefer oat milk. Thanks for the save! I fell in love with this coffee shop in 2015 when I moved to downtown Richmond. Throughout the years, the staff have always been wonderful and welcoming. The coffee are always amazing and the vibe is relaxing. It's a great hideaway in the middle of the city with great selection of coffee, teas, wines, snacks, lite breakfast/lunch items. Easily my top 3 favorite places.

Friendly and easy to talk to, the owners mentioned how the sandwiches were first created in their home kitchen.The coffees are DELICIOUS, the atmosphere is loving. Cute little coffee shop with a few outdoor tables. The ham and jam croissant was fantastic. It’s a small shop with no WiFi so I couldn’t hang out and do work. But recommend if you’re in the area.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this quaint little coffee shop twice while visiting Richmond. They make one of the best chai tea lattes I’ve had (and I’ve had a ton)! I ordered my chai’s with oat milk and it’s phenomenal. The pair that works behind the counter are pleasant and they seem to work together as a great team. Even when the shop was quite busy they had their customers in and out in no time! Thank you Sefton Coffee for being a gem!
