Wow! I stumbled into this place just looking for a cheap lunch and I didn't have high expectations, but I was thoroughly pleased with the meal I received. One of the best lunches I've had in Richmond.Quick service, comfortable space, delicious meal.
The food was decent and the place had a good vibe to it. The food was a tad overpriced, which I wouldn't be too upset about... Except you have to bus your own table. And they have you pay upfront before the meal, so you give them a tip before you even know you have to bus the table and pour your own drinks. What's the point of the tip, at this point?
Super cute spot we stumbled upon by accident while trying to avoid the brunch rush but satisfy our hangovers. The food was delicious, and they had tons of interesting items for sale from small household gifts to nice bottles of wine to tiny bottles of chapulines and locally baked bread. Would make a great first date spot.
Super friendly place! Coffee is great, and the breakfast is fantastic!
Do not go here unless you are prepared to squeeze into tiny tables and have other tables basically sitting in your lap! I made a reservation to go here for our anniversary. My gf had never been here before so we thought we might try it. I figured when stating that the reservation was for our anniversary we would have a nice quiet table. Instead what we got was the smallest table I’ve ever seen shoved into a corner. To access this table my gf had to ask two other diners at the
Awesome place all around. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Espresso was really good. Really nicely curated beer selection both for on premise and to go. Looking forward to coming back
I ordered the Fancy Chicken Biscuit and a cup of cappuccino for Sunday brunch. I really enjoy them. I like how they can keep their menu simple and focus on making great selection of food and drinks. The place has great ambience and people are friendly. Highly recommended.
Saison has amazing coffee and mixed drinks, and their selection of beer and wine is excellent. I wish they had a better selection of vegan dinner entrees, but their vegan breakfast burrito is super yummy. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful!
Where to begin...I consider myself to be a generally fair patron-- hence, the 3 stars. The food was good. The coffee was good. I loved the glassware. But allow me, for a minute to paint a brief picture for you. You are inconsolably hungover. You have just downed a breakfast burrito, followed by a tall Bloody Mary. The world begins to realign. You are then told that you are expected to...bus your own table. I'm no chef/bartender, but I could have done any of this at home therein avoiding feeling violated both emotionally and financially. how do we feel about bussing our own table? are we as a society endeavoring into a co-operative style dining experience? Moreover, are these co-operative style dining experiences a slippery slope? overall good vibes though, and we'd recommend the brunch tbh. fun fact John Adams lived to be 91, would he have stood for this?
Best atmosphere and staff! Great wine selection.
