Went here on a quick decision after driving by the previous day and let me just say.. This will be a regular spot for our family! Food was fresh, delicious and fast with an expansive menu of street tacos and nachos among other items. Staff was friendly and their recommendations were great, drinks were also great and THEY HAVE THE GOOD ICE. You know, the crunchy ice with spaces that hold your drink only to release it when you satisfyingly crunch it! And they have Styrofoam cups which holds the optimal temperature for a cold fountain drink on a hot day ? I really am serious about drinks. The person taking our order suggested 2-3 tacos per person (2 was plenty if you get sides) They also have an actual bar with a variety of margaritas- on the rocks and frozen- and draft and bottled beer. Patio seating is completed w string lights and umbrellas bringing a fun twist to this quick service, order and sit oasis in the middle of west broad.
Fabulous, fun, Friday lunch! The chips and queso are amazing! Loved the margarita - on the rocks - perfect! Enjoyed the pescatarian options. Had the fish taco and the cauliflower taco. Good tacos both! Also tried the street corn which wasn't very spicy for those looking for a milder option. Best part, hands down, was the people! The cashier was super friendly and helpful, the bartender was really nice, and the service counter staff kept the party rolling. The whole place was clean, friendly, inviting, and fun. I signed up for the loyalty program, so I'm looking to go back and enjoy more of those chips and queso for free!
Interesting atmosphere. Kind of sports bar like. There’s indoor and outdoor seating along with an indoor/outdoor bar area. Service is slow but friendly. Food is okay, portions seem small (salad pictured). Restaurant appears very clean.
Neat atmosphere but menu was very underwhelming. What taco place doesn't have carne asada or al pastor? The tacos I ordered didn't have much flavor and weren't worth the price ($3.50 for ONE taco??). Not recommended if you're used to authentic Mexican street tacos
Cool vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating with a window wall that lifts to open the inside and outside at the bar area. Music playing tonight was a good mix. They have a couple good IPAs on tap. Margarita on the rocks was not good - neither of us liked it. Green taco (carnitas) was really good. Acapulco fish taco was just okay. The cabbage in the slaw was really strong. Husband was okay with Texican tacos. Chips and salsa were spot on. We'll come back and try some different tacos next time.
Really quick place for street style tacos. It took less than 5 minutes to get my food after ordering and the food tasted really good. Prices are obviously higher than at a taco truck, but it matches other taco restaurants in the area. Tables could've been a bit cleaner but all together I'd go again. They also have breakfast tacos available all day.
We had a great lunch at Rusty Taco Short Pump! The staff was friendly and helpful and the service was quick. I enjoyed my Texican taco and loved the queso and chips! My watermelon margarita was delicious too! Looking forward to sitting out on the patio on my next visit!
I absolutely love this place. I have been to the one in Midlothian since I live near there, but this location is close to my work. I had the Roasted Pork and the Baja Shrimp (Crispy) tacos, they were made perfectly. The other taco that everyone should try that I didn't get today is the Green Street Taco! It is amazing. I will definitely be back plenty of times.
Great food and drinks for a reasonable price. The atmosphere was kind of loud once it got crowded. Can't wait to check out the patio area. Will definitely be going back.
The breakfast tacos were pretty solid! Not the most authentic but definitely delicious.
