The space is really pretty and the servers and line cook are as nice as can be, but the menu has been really scaled back from a couple years ago, just plain options like chicken sandwich and burger, no "southern food with a twist" like they used to have. Hopefully as the world goes back to normal they'll pick up enough traffic to start bringing back the old menu.

We beelined to Rueger's bar upon check-in and had the pleasure of having a couple beverages served by bartender K.O. She was a delight. Kind, funny, and helpful. After a long day, it was just what we needed.

Just checked-in today. This place is absolutely beautiful, everyone is so friendly, everything is clean, the bed and pillows are so comfortable .. I’m so happy I chose this hotel
I love visiting here. The staff was very helpful and observant. The place has a cool atmosphere. Food is like a restaurant in Louisville I liked.

I had meeting at the Capitol and needed a convenient lunch. Rueger's fit the bill. They have a lunch buffet for $15 that includes a variety of items plus beverage. The food was good and the staff were very nice. Rueger's was exactly what I was looking for.

It’s a 5 star experience with bargain prices. Beautifully decorated, spotless, and spacious suites. Nice linens and mattress. Dog friendly. Great location in the heart of town. Exceptional service and food at all hours. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our stay.
