Our kids & I love Red Robin. This one is run quite well. The hostess & server were both very friendly. One of my girls misses the corn dog nuggets in school lunches now that she's out for summer, & this is a place where she can get her fix. The brisket that they have for the seasonal menu is good (not great). I haven't tried it but the pineapple upside-down cake seasonal shake looks/sounds like it's fantastic.

Walked in at 3:15 on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe 10 guests in the dining room. Four staff in the dining room that we saw. One was actively working and three seemed to just be avoiding eye contact. Took the hostess 5 minutes to even acknowledge us. Then she tells us there's a 20 minute wait for a party of two. So, we left, as did the party of 3 that walked in behind us.

Staff shortage is very bad here, there's a sign on the door explaining that, but things could have been a bit better, overall.Waiter never refilled drinks or checked on us after bringing food...reviews from 5 to 6 moths ago about no ice cream? Still true, they have a sign out front explaining that too. One kids meal we received had only 7 french fries. Food was very good but had sat for a while before being brought out, was warm not hot. Also its really dark in the rest room area.

They are totally doing their best and our waitress was excellent, she was flawlessly managing four tables. Food was great and bottomless fries are awesome. If you are going to go into an establishment with a known hiring shortage and complain stay home and cook your own food.

If you are thinking about going...DON'T. My family and I ended up here on a Thursday night. We waited about 15 minutes which wasn't bad at all.The food...was really bad. Everything was cold, the burgers, the fries, the side of broccoli for my kids. We didn't get refills on any drinks.I asked for another order of fries thinking they would be warm but I never got them. We waited for a while and they never came. I just asked for the check...My husband and I used to come here a LOT during lunch and it was so good. We were disappointed in this visit. I usually give spots another chance but not this one. No thank you.

Ordered curbside. They didn't receive the order until 20 minutes after I placed it. Took almost an hour between placing and getting order. One table inside and 10 cars in the parking lot. 5 fries total with the kids burger, and 10 with the adult.

I went there to eat today and there was only 2 waitstaff on. I had to wait maybe 10 minutes to sit down but once I did it was very much so worth the wait. The food came out perfect and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This is the Red Robin at Short Pump in Richmond, Virginia. I will not be going back there. The place was very dirty, the bathrooms were extremely nasty! Every stall was out of toilet liners. It actually resemble a bathroom at a bus stop. My food was not hot when it was brought to my table, they did not get my order correct either. This meant I had to wait longer to eat my food. The drinking glasses that we were served with our drinks were broken cracked on the bottom; which means one could actually cut their hands on that and this is a major safety issue. I guess this is the result of covid, the standards have gone down the toilet!Check out the pictures that are accompanying this post.

Burnt food. Server unattentive and seemed constantly in a hurry. Went half the visit with no drink. Appetizers were over cooked and came at the same time as our entrees.

As pretty much everywhere in Richmond, seating was limited, I'm sure due to limited staff. We were told a 40 minute wait, which was fine. We actually were seated in less than 15 minutes. The food was really good and served fast. Our waiter "Nick", was also running the bar, bussing tables, and pretty much running around like crazy. He stayed on the move through our entire visit. He was in a great mood and did an exceptional job. I would have had an anxiety attack if put in his shoes.Nick deserves a raise!
