A local treasure, and extremely popular for a reason. The soft serve frozen custard is some of the best I've ever had, with an incredibly silky and creamy texture. The homemade brownies are likewise fantastic. Even the "water ice" is great, though it's hard to get that when the custard is available. Note: The "hand scooped' custard is more similar to hard pack ice cream, and not as decadently creamy as the frozen custard.Also note: They have a rotating series of special flavors for the frozen custard, which tends to change once a month or so. Most are very, very good.A little on the expensive side, but the custard really can't be beat.

Just tried it for the first time tonight. My only regret is all of the calories I’ll be consuming because the soft serve custard is divine! My family loved it- we’ll be back!

The first page of the website says: “ Our Lauderdale store is open for full service and online ordering, link/hours below.Our West Broad Village store is closed for the season. 2022 Season starts March, 1.”Google also shows that the Lauderdale store is open.Drive there, and… it’s closed for the season. The owner replied to the review below and said it’s on their website that it’s closed, but it doesn’t.. :(
