Great ramen but the place is small. We had a little wait for our food, but if you've got some good friends with good conversation, you won't notice. The menu is short and sweet and the staff is attentive.
Im always on the hunt for ramen. And soooo glad i found this spot :) the flavors were rich, the service was on point and the vibe was great. I have a great experience every time i drop in as i drive through RVA. Ty see you soon!!
Ramen had a predominant seaweed flavor I couldn't taste pork the buns were good ?
The chicken katsu ramen, and don't forget the potato cakes! I enjoyed my dinner and will be back for dessert.
The food was really good!! I got Udon Noodles and everything about it was very delicious. They were very kind whenever me and my friend wanted to change our dine in to take out.I didnt get a photo, but I also got takoyaki as a side alongside my udon, and that was also very delicious. Definitely a place I'd love to get food from again!!
I had takoyaki, spicy miso ramen, and my husband had chashu ramen for lunch. They were all good, but I preferred the spicy miso ramen over the chashu ramen.
Tastes like actual ramen I've had in Japan. All the ramen is great so far. I have lunch here like every other day lol.The chashu pork bowl was a miss though. The vegetable ramen is also bland.

Amazing food and friendly service! I ordered the lunch special Miso Ramen and Takoyaki, and both were absolutely delicious! The miso broth was flavorful but not too salty, with a good balance of toppings. The takoyaki stole the show for me though. It was like being back in Japan! I haven't had takoyaki that good in a long time, and I can't wait to go back for more. The friendly staff sealed the deal for me. They were attentive and sweet, and I look forward to eating there again.
The ramen and curry were very delicious and close to being authentic to actual Japanese standards (close, but not quite). However, there was a homeless person who continued to sit extremely close to patrons and ask for food, repeatedly with no intervention from the staff. Otherwise, this place would've gotten a 5 from me.
