This place is like the McDonald’s of hibachi. Some days it’s good, others could be better (based off other reviews) . I went for the first time today. You definitely get your monies worth. Something about the sauce they used made the fried rice taste weird to me, Noodles were ok, steak had very little flavor.
Decided to try a new place. Not only were 2 items missing, but what we did receive was totally inedible! No flavor, burnt to a crisp and dry. Side of veggies was 100% steamed cabbage with absolutely no seasoning. Beef so burnt, and bland, even the dogs walked away from it. Spring rolls so greasy they fell apart. None of it is edible! Will NEVER order from them again!
I got the Chicken and Shrimp Bento Box, cost around 16 bucks for all the food you get 4 cali rolls, 2 spring rolls, 2 chicken dumplings, and veggies. I just want to say the spring rolls were really mushy on the inside like everything was blended and rolled into it also flavorless. The dumplings were the same. Chicken just ok with Soy sauce. Yum yum sauce very watery, shrimp a no go. Cali rolls were dry. I do not see myself order here again. I was so excited for a close sushi spot, but I will just keep going to sushi king
I had Chicken with rice and vegetables.. overcooked vegetables.Chicken had no seasoning. Yum yum sauce was yuck yuck...Spring rolls were good.
The service was very good! I was in and out within 5 minutes!! For $6 the sushi (salmon avocado roll) was not that bad. It wasn't the best, but it's definitely not bad. Tastes like your average store brought sushi (which is actually $1-$5 more). Not bad but very little flavor (the soy sauce helped with flavor). Very eye-grabbing though.
Went on Friday, I thought the food was good, my husband said the beef was over cooked, I got the shrimp, shrimp are very small, not much in the spring roll, sushi was good and veggies were really good. Overall food had good flavor. Went back on Sunday, hubby said steak was much better but I thought the food tasted bland, no flavor. Guess it depends on whose cooking.
Absolutely love this restaurant! My go to is the hibachi chicken with noodles and mixed vegetables. The meat is very tender, flavorful and juicy. They give a generous portion of food for a great price and the food is healthy. They never let you down, the food is always prepared consistently. Always hot and tasty!!??
Fingers crossed i don't get food poisoning i stopped eating the rock n roll after 2 pieces... Hibachi chicken was bland and didn't taste good either. There goes $21Horrible food never again. Spend your money on a decent meal elsewhere...Any review over 2 or 3 stars is a lie.
I want back 3 times and it's good. So far I've had the chicken, beef and shrimp hibachi. It's a lot of food for the money. Rice was good white and fried and the vegetables. Usually quick service.
I was really looking forward to eating here for a few months now. Now that I’ve had it, I can say I’m a bit disappointed. The prices are pretty low, but of course you always get what you pay for. I got the hibachi steak and the spicy salmon roll. The salmon roll was okay, reasonable for $6. The hibachi steak was hit and miss. One half of the plate (the steak and rice) was alright. Nothing amazing, but they tasted good enough. The other half of the plate was… cabbage, just cabbage. I mean, there were 3 very small pieces of broccoli which were good, but the rest of the side was filled with probably enough onion slices for one full onion. So hey, if you love cabbage and low-priced mall-level Asian food, this is the place for you.
