Delicious burgers and onion rings, generous portions, and a reasonable price. Plenty of outdoor tables, so a great option on a nice day. There are only about 5 seats inside and it’s wildly cramped. The only downside to this place is that they had a Tr*mp sign hanging…eek. Service was very friendly and typically Southern in the best way.
Have driven by this place a million and today we stopped in to give it a try. First its tiny, there is a bar with stools when yiu walk in that holds maybe 5 people. There are ll kinds of crazy niknaks and memorabilia throughout the place. Actually pretty cool sitting there and checking everything out. We got greeted by a young fellow that took our order and pasted it along to the cook but I doubt there were 3 feet between them being so small. They have lots of items to choose from. Hot dogs, hamburgers, Subs and apparently they're supposed to have the best bologna burger in town. My daughter got the everyday special, 2 hot dogs, fries and drink for $6. She did have a hard time figuring out what toppings she wanted, but choose bacon and cheese. She liked them, but we both thought the bacon a bit under cooked. I got the Granny Dog, which is a foot long hot dog covered high with chili, sauerkraut, jalapenos and some other stuff. It was pretty good as well, but got soggy pretty quick. The fries were super hot, fresh and crispy. They gave me an order as well instead of the onion rings I ordered. When I said something, they quickly corrected, but in their rush to correct a few of rings were undercooked, the ones cooked were pretty tasty. The cook was pretty chatty and pleasant to speak to. Prices are very reasonable. There is some outdoor seating, but think they might do a more take out business. Definitely a mom and pop place, so we'll worth giving them your business.
Ma and Mr. Pete were great company while we waited for our dogs and burgers. Quaint establishment chock full of history, antiques, and stories with super yummy food! Four of us had full meals for under $30. Can't wait to go back!
Amazing little hole in the wall. You would not even be able to believe it, but they've even managed to cram a lunch counter in the tiny place if you want to eat indoors. I had the slaw dog and the double cheese burger with Onions. Both were good, but the burger was the real star. High quality patties, and the onions were nice and fresh, and with prices equivalent to most fast food places its well worth the extra wait for one of these instead of McDonald's. There are places that sell inferior burgers for more.If I had one complaint, it was The bun. Everything in the bun was amazing but the bun itself was your standard bagged affair. I could not help thinking to myself those kingly beef patties deserved a better chariot to ride around in. But at the price point offered it gets a free pass! All in all, excellent, and the staff were very nice. Do not give this place a miss!
It’s ok. Not the cleanest in the public spaces. Room was adequately cleaned.
food was good. cheap prices. good service
Stumbled across this place on my drive home. This diner is extremely impressive and the food is just absolutely wonderful. If you ever spot it, Order a burger or a hotdog to go, you won’t regret it.
First time here after hearing many great compliments. They didn't disappoint. Great chili dog
Not exactly a hole in the wall. Quite a bit smaller. To big guys pigged out and were filled up for under 15 bucks total. Mom and Pop provided commentary and entertainment. It is seriously small so proceed accordingly
I love this place! Customer service is great and the food is awesome! I will definitely be going back.
