I’ve always loved pollo campero & we went here because it was on our way to Virginia Beach.It was a holiday, July 4th so they were extremely busy. I had placed my order online & had some issue with my online order but the employees were absolutely great. I I received great service from the team at this store. I was called to be notified that my order was ready & they called to clear out the confusion with my online orders.One of few places where the service was great despite how busy they were. I applaud this team for their wonderful customer service !
Please can we get a Pollo Campero in Raleigh, NC!?!? Just as good as the ones in Guatemala! I was worried it wouldn’t be. I got $85 worth of chicken here to take back to NC. Eat here, you won’t regret it unless you’re vegetarian or vegan.
They have really good fried chicken with about 5 or 6 sides to choose from.
I know it’s a Sunday and restaurant is busy, but the quality of the food was bad. I ordered a meal with two side. One was a corn salad and was soggy, it feel nasty when you put it on your mouth, the second side was a cole slaw salad and had a big pieces of cabbage that feel like you are eating a fresh salad. The only that was cooked right was the chicken.
The longest wait time in order to get your food. The chicken was dry and the service is horrible. I can't understand why it takes so long to put food that's already prepared onto a plate and serve your customers
We ordered a pickup for 12 piece chicken, order number 35148508 ,order was for :12 Pieces - Chicken Only--Half Fried/Grilled Chicken (Legs & thigh)The fried chicken was very good and that is why I am providing 2 , for the baked chicken I got winglets and burnt breast pieces instead of legs and thighs, they were very dry and inedible and MOST IMPORTANTLY BURNT , my wife couldnt eat anything ,bec she wanted the grill part.
food tasted pretty good but the empanadas gave my mom severe food poisoning. Out both ends all night. Also the bathroom had a huge dump just sitting in there. Really gross.
I really enjoy this place more than kfc, Popeyes or Zaxby’s. It’s a Hispanic chicken jaint and there also crispy and enjoyable. Don’t think of it as a fast food either.
I an never disappointed with the food when I come here. Even getting it delivered it’s still good. All of the options and sides are great. Very reasonable prices too. The only problem would be that it’s a little salty, but it’s definitely better than KFC or Popeyes by far. Try it out!
This place easily rivals Popeyes and Chick-fil-A. Their chicken legs and chicken sandwiches are mouth watering. I love how they have easy access horchatas next to the soda machine. The staff is super friendly, and the layout of the restaurant is convenient. I always get my food in no time, and they are already ahead of COVID by having contactless ordering. They offer countless deals with the online app, so do sign up!
