I am so unbelievably impressed with this place! Went on a Saturday for a late lunch and got the pulled chicken sandwich, wingettes in Buffalo sauce, and my boyfriend got the brisket. Everything was incredible. The bartender was attentive and friendly, the food came out quickly, and it was AMAZING. Zero complaints, will be back!!
We loved this place! The brisket was so tender and moist. We also got pulled pork, the fried fish sandwich, fries, Mac and cheese, and cold slaw. Just overall loved. Got a couple beers on tap. The prices were so reasonable and loved the atmosphere. I believe Ariss was our server and she was awesome. Attentive and kind! Will definitely be back when visiting Richmond.
Great atmosphere and a sweet spot to watch sports. The food was not great, granted they were out of the brisket, wings, and collards. Would not recommend the Mac and cheese.
They didn't have bbq sauce, no potato salad and no mac and cheese. Smoked wings did not have any seasoning and it seemed like the put ketchup on top. The burger had the texture of meatloaf. The hillbilly fries were good tho so 2 stars for that.
Went here for brunch on a Sunday. It was packed, which is never a bad thing. The customer service was on point, I honestly think that was their biggest point because when it gets busy like that , customer service can go down. The DJ was really good so if you don't mind noise, that was a plus. We got seated fairly quickly. Food wise, eh. The grits were bland and bit crunch in some bites. The fried fish was seasoned and cooked well though. I will be back for the actual BBQ part of the menu.
My first time here. I had a pulled chicken sandwich. Maaaaan when i tell you that was a sandwich. I wanted a to go for later and the next day. Place was really clean. Lots of outlets so i had no problem charging my laptop. The server was really nice. I really enjoy it there. I will be back to try more food.
ordered a pile of food takeout through doordash. fantastic food. delicious. every single thing. bbq, loney burger, super fries, potato salad, corn bread, peach cobbler, nc bbq with omg sauce added. so so good. my only complaint is weak packaging...it's like loading an excavator onto a lawn mower trailer. you have a new customer and thanks for being on door dash so I can order again!!!

I was excited to try this Black-owned BBQ. I ordered via GrubHub, which I shouldn't have done because the delivery was late and the food was just lukewarm by the time I got it. While I can't complain about the portion size of the sides, I wasn't too happy with the portion size of the brisket entree. The brisket was tender. The macaroni was on point. I didn't care for the bbq profile of the baked beans and bbq sauce that came on the side.
The customer service is so great here, and I really wanted to love the food here maybe because it is more of a bbq place. I had the fish sandwich and it was so nasty, the mac n cheese had no flavor. I was so disappointed because I seen this place all on social media and couldn't wait to try it but defiantly not worth it.
