Pearl’s is, hands down, the best bakery in Richmond. My gluten-free, nut-free, wedding cake was absolutely delicious. We had a layer of lemon, a layer of lime and a layer of carrot and each were so moist and flavorful. Several of our guests said that if I hadn’t told them our cake was gluten free, they would not have known. During the planning process, the team was very careful to note our allergens and assure us of their processes. Prior to my wedding, I tried several of their gluten free and vegan gluten-free cupcakes and all of them were amazing. I highly recommend Pearl’s, especially if you have special dietary needs.
I bought this cake as a fresh bake with a high price, but it was old and hard a d the tops very old ,we can't eat.I will never back again to themMy husband asked before get it if it's fresh one and the cashier answered yes,it's new bake, it was not .They are lei.
I have been a fan since Pearls opened and I want to let you know that the past two times I’ve been my cupcakes were one of the best batches I’ve ever had! My daughters graduation cake was equally delicious. My husband proclaimed it best cake ever! And we have had lots of your cakes. Delicious cakes but absolutely some of the worst service..my fiance and I are getting married in November after a 2 year engagement and wanted only pearl's for our cupcakes, but after literally a year and a half of trying to set up a tasting or sign any sort of contract, we have been unsuccessful. I think we finally got a response a few weeks ago now saying they are all booked up through November despite us trying for over a year to book with them. Unbelievable - I used to recommend this place to everyone but with them being the one single business that has been uncooperative in our wedding planning I will no longer be doing so
Pearl’s Bake Shoppe is a wonderful local bakery. I put in an order of mini cupcakes for a luncheon. They were exquisitely made and absolutely delicious. I will be back for more. The butter cream icing is to die for! The NEW owners are fantastic and provide excellent customer service!
Went to Pearl’s Bake Shoppe and was pleasantly surprised! I had never been in and was overwhelmed with the wonderful selection. The staff was great and explained all the different options of the different cupcakes that I could pick from. The owner even came out to make sure I had a great customer experience. They had vegan and gluten free cupcakes as well! I took some cupcakes to a friend that wasn’t feeling well and it put such a smile on her face. She said it was the best cupcake she had ever had! I had the cake pop and can’t wait to go back to get more!
The treats here are so good! They are very versatile from iced chaos to gluten free brownies. Their customer service is also really good as well. One time I came in with only Apple Pay, and I tried to get a brownie, and they said that I couldn’t get it because they only accept cash and card. I left the shop and the person checking me out came running to me and gave the brownie for free. I was very happy. I tried to come back and pay them back, but they wouldn’t accept it. Highly recommend this business to anyone!
Pearl's has the BEST gluten free bakery options!! We tried the gluten free apple cinnamon coffee cake and the gluten free sweet potato biscuits for Mother's Day and no one could tell they were gluten free! We have also tried the gluten free cupcakes and they are absolutely delicious! Pearl's is our go-to for all bakery options! And there customer service is also wonderful!
