Got a steak that was suppose to be 8oz and it was actually 4oz. I Weighed my steak smh. Also mac and cheese was noodles and butter my dog didn’t even eat it. Salad had bad lettuce in it. Last time given this place a chance.
The restaurant was very clean and quiet in the early afternoon with few patrons. I was greeted by the hostess and given a table almost immediately. The waiter was prompt and I believe he was the only server working. I ordered baked potato soup and a salad. Very, very good. The server was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this establishment to others.
Worst experience ever at an Outback restaurant. I have been a loyal customer of Outback since the late 90’s. The last visits to this location may have changed my mind for good. In September 2021 we came to this location wit 10 people and were told they couldn’t seat us together due to staffing issues. We left and we to the Outback location on Broad St. Where they gladly sat us together. Today both my wife and myself ordered the filet steak done medium. Both were cooked well done when we got them. We asked them to recook and they got my wife’s done correctly, but now my 8 oz steak was only a 6 oz. I had to send back and didn’t even get to eat my steak before we had to leave. The restaurant wasn’t even half full tonight, so there are no excuses.
3 out of our 4 plates of food had cold food. I ordered the 6oz steak and grilled shrimp baked potato and steak house mac and cheese. The shrimp was cold and the mac and cheese was only just warm in a cast iron pan. My steak was only warm also. My daughter had the prime rib sandwich and fries. Her fries were cold. When I said something to the waitress she said I'll get you some new shrimp and left. By the time I got my shrimp everyone was done with dinner. We were ready to leave. At the end we went to leave and the waitress was rude with our checks.
This place is fairly decent, I don’t have any genuine complaints other than the other day when my Mom and I had came in, the Asian Manager kept on walking back and forth past our table and hadn’t spoken to, or approached us, yet she’d done so for everyone else. She kept pacing the floor, giving us the side eye and double backing just to look at us and never said a word to us ONCE. She didn’t even approach our table to ask how the food was, or anything. She did however stay at the Bar chatting to one Customer in particular majority of the time, but that was about it. Usually at certain Restaurants the Manager will visit each table and chit chat for a few, asking how well the food was, asking if we needed anything else, etc., but we didn’t get any of that. Other than that, the rest of the Staff was decent, but she should really consider doing better with her Customer Service, because she’s blocking her own Blessing. I could’ve tipped her $100 just for talking to us.
I really enjoyed my visit to Outback. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. My wife and I always get the blooming onion as an appetizer. We try something new everytime we go and never are disappointed.
Food and service was excellent. Good time out with the family.
Haven't been to Outback in almost four years and I can safely say I won't be going back. When we got there everything was going great, our waitress was nice, or so I thought. We received our food and I immediately noticed it was cold, but deciding not to bother her I shrugged it off and ate the food anyways. The chicken was amazing, it was cooked to perfection and still savory. The loaded mash potatoes were alright, and the Mac and cheese seemed rather dry. The wings were to die for! The bloomin shrimp seemed to lack flavor and tasted rather dull, even when drowned in the sauce. Once we paid off our bill our waitress immediately switched up on attitude, so safe to say we will definitely not be going back.
Tonight I ordered curbside pick up. My food was supposed to be ready at 6:01 and I believe it was. However because there was only one person working the line on a Saturday night and I did not receive my food until 6:25. When I got home everything was COLD! The steaks were supposed to be Medium the were way over cooked. The mashed potatoes were hard lumps. I had to reheat everything which caused my steaks to be even more well done. My dinner was essentially ruined and it kills me that I paid 60.00 for overcooked steaks, lumpy cold potatoes and cold bread. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. But if this is the kind of disappointing service I can expect I will not return!
When initially seated, the host sat us down at a table with peeling epoxy and old food push into the cracks of the fading countertop. After being moved to a new table by the waitress we had a lovely experience. Kayla was great; attentive, understanding, punctual and down to earth. Steak was cooked to order and well seasoned. Shrimp were good, slightly over seasoned; rice was bland. Overall, great experience. However, cleanliness should be the top priority moving forward.
