I love coming here! It has become a comfort place for me here in Richmond. On a rainy day I always trust that their Pho and mango sticky rice will soothe me.Also their sweet tea is really sweet and I personally love it.
Trust me, get their Thai tea. Probably the most refreshing and delicious Thai Tea you’ll get for a very good price. I visited Nisa Thai a couple of times with friends before while hanging around Downtown and I always go for their drinks! My friend has tried many other flavors as well and loved all of them, and the Pad Thai is also very well made. Seasoned well, not too dry or wet, and a generous portion. I’ve also ordered various kinds of their soups (apologies, cannot remember specific names) and each one tasted amazing and always hit the spot! Their restaurant location can be a little awkward to navigate and they do have parking at the back of the shop, and it’s in walking distance from many other places. Interior is very sweet, appealing, and the owners and waitresses are all very accommodating and attentive. Service is almost always quick and efficient. Bring all your friends for some delicious Thai Cuisine!
It is a nice place, the waitress was very nice and friendly. Food is mostly good (except for the rice), but there was exactly 5 tapioca beads in our bubble teas.
They have great gluten free options, just ask, most dishes can be gluten free, but not all. They are also conveniently close to Altria theater for pre-show dinner.
We had some of the best Thai food here before going to a show at the Altria Theater. It was a short walk to this restaurant. That fact, combined with the delicious food and wonderful service, made it well worth our while. We definitely will be back!
Pad Thai with prawn or chicken is good and consistent. They were very good with accommodating my love for spice. My complaint arises from the Thai Green Curry. It was watery, overly sweetened, and had a lack of shrimp paste flavor.
Waited 10 minutes before someone came over to take order and to even bring water. Ordered food only wanted pho and a few appetizer that were fried. Waited 30 minutes no food. No one even came back to even acknowledge our long wait and ensure our food was being made. We were completely ignored. So were just got up and left. There was only 7 other people in restaurant when we entered but they were done dining. We were the only one to be served. Guess they cater to pickup orders.
I work locally and forgot my lunch so I ordered from grubhub from this restaurant and was very pleased. I love coconut based soups and ordered one with tofu and another with shrimp for tomorrow. I also got sticky rice. It was all very tasty. I will order again.
Abating experience! Sushi is no longer in their menu, but they have great Thai/Vietnamese/Asian cuisine. The ambiance is tranquil and really great staff. Not to mention they offer Halal meat substitutions! This was a great food find while we were down in Richmond for the weekend. Thanks Nisa Thai you guys are awesome!
A great place . i had the stir fry with pork & mixed vegtibles . it was delicious . parking around the back . waitress was very polite . really nice place to eat ..
