Awesome bagels and cream cheese. Disappointed in the new online ordering though, very frustrating that one can order a bagel with cream cheese online but not just a bagel on its own. Was going everyday they were open before but not quite as much nowEdit: thanks for the reply. Makes sense
Your average bagel shoppe. Nate's is always a hit or miss. 50%. The melted cheese hot breakfast sandwiches are good. The jersey turn pile is yummy. The pimento cheese sandwich is pictured. Not fully what I was expecting. My friend paid for $1.00 of cream cheese on the side to lube up her throat in order to eat that whad of pimento cheese on her bagel. They offer many drink options but did not have half and half creamer. I appreciate that you can enter the facility now, it makes the experience real again!
I've been going here since they opened (maybe once every couple of months). I crave a bagel with a simple schmear, and I can get my fix at Nate's. And, if I want to be extra, the sandwiches are really good, too. Can't go wrong with egg and cheese. I have never had anything there that wasn't satisfying, and these days, I always preorder for pick up and usually don't have to wait upon arrival on weekdays. I really appreciate the pre-ordering system - waiting inside was crowded even pre-pandemic.
They don’t close at 2pm. They close around 1:40pm. Got there at 1:40 and was told there’s no bagels left. First of all you close really early on the weekends. Limited hours all week long also. Then he changed up and said he can give me a bagel but they won’t cook anything, it would be cream cheese or cold food only, I’m guessing they already shut off their gas and cleaned up before their closing time posted on the door. I had been trying to come here for a long time, and i probably won’t be returning due to this experience. There’s better bagels in the city, and i got my sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel at a different shop that day. There is no dining in. Order by call in or online only.
Waited 50 minutes for a bagel that had a pathetic amount of cream cheese. Overall the bagel was good but the wait was terrible and the price even worse. It should not cost $5 to add lox to a bagel.
The bagels are absolutely delicious, but they can’t seem to get my order right. I’ve ordered from Nate’s twice now. The first time, I ordered a lox bagel, and they forgot to put on the lox. The second time, I ordered two bagels, and they mixed up the ingredients between the two. The one that was supposed to have caramelized onions, and the other was supposed to have cheddar, but they put the wrong item on the wrong bagel. So I ended up with one bagel that had both cream cheese and cheddar, while the other bagel had neither.
First time trying Nates. Bagel was fresh and delicious. I had the Ham-azing bagel sandwich,it was very tasty. Next time I would see if it could be toasted. The wait time wasn't too bad maybe 10 mins. They aren't letting anyone in the store so make sure you order online.
really love this place! i’ve order a ton recently as I just moved to Richmond. delicious bagels and great sandwich options. however, my bagels are typically wrong. they have been missing add-ons (which are an up charge) the past three times i have ordered. :/ the SCHMEAR tends to be weak and is not on both sides.
Tasty bagels. Well made, crusty exterior and soft, chewy fluffy center. Only weird thing is they don't toast bagels. They have a variety of sandwich options and some pastry options as well. No inside traffic, u have to place a mobile or telephone order. Service is fast and friendly. They're quite busy, but the wait time was very short.
Delicious ingredients, creative menu. Super cute! Plenty of street parking.
