Mmm. One of my favorite locals. It's busy around lunch, and since it's drive-thru only right now, getting in line in their parking lot can be difficult (depending on how many people are already in line, the lot can be full), but worth the wait. Great subs and sandwiches, really good fried wings. My favorite is their cheese steak, but I just recently had their chicken parm sub and it was really good.
Don't let the old building and signage fool you, this is truly a hidden gem of Richmond. At lunch time, the drive thru line backs up nearly onto Broad Street and I now know why! We had the pizza sub and the super sub and both were delicious. The fries are great too.
Super dank sub for a great price! I get the super sub or the special sub. The bread and meats are great. Also they have really good fries! Recommend this place despite the looks of it, the line in the drive thru should tell you enough!
Love the subs from Mr Submarine. Pictures don't do it justice, you have to try it. Once you do, you'll be back for more.

Worst sub ever meat was over cooked bread was burnt. Never again. Usually have ok subs. Steak and cheese are bland no seasonings.
Reasonable prices combined with taste. Fast service coupled with satisfaction. Mister paired with Submarine.Chicken parmesan and steak and cheese are great! Portions are huge that it can be split into two meals. Fries are addicting but a bit too salty. Drive thru line organization is messy however. Not enough cars can fit into a line leaving you wondering where to go. Static noise dominates the drive thru speaker. Makes you say, I hope that's my order!Overall, it's good.
The subs are made just like a sub should be. I had a super sub. It was loaded with meat and toppings. The bread was toasted to perfection. The Ice Tea is southern until the last drop. I have tried to eat here in the past and could not get in the parking lot. Today I was lucky enough to swing in. Grab a sub from the drivethru and then head back to Norfolk. Try the Baklava it's magical.
Got two cheese steaks, one with banana peppers. Myself and the other person thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was quick, and the fries were both a generous portion as well as delicious. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.
