We have been to events catered by Mosaic many times and I have found the food to be okay, but repetitive. I attempted to use them recently for a cocktail and buffet dinner, but I couldn't even get them to call me back. I called THREE times and explained what we needed. Each time the person answering took my information about date, venue, head count, and plan. They said the date was available, seemed to jot it down, remembered me from previous calls, and then said a catering manager would call me back. I never got a call back. Ultimately, I had to scramble to find another caterer, who did a great job and who I will be using from now on.
If you are a planning an event and looking for a caterer, let me share with you:First, the food was delicious, well-executed and beautifully presented! Second, the staff was experienced and professional.We worked as a fellow vendor to Mosaic Catering at a recent wedding, and they literally SAVED THE DAY! Had there been a less experienced caterer at the event, it would have been a disaster. They jumped in and helped way above and beyond their contracted duties.They were gracious and kind, somehow managing to be polite and professional with a wedding party that was incredibly disorganized and also so rude to all of the vendors all night long.The Mosaic staff was absolutely amazing in every possible way!!
My husband and I worked with MOSAIC Catering for our wedding -- and everything went very smoothly! The food was delicious (all vegetarian options), and communication with Elizabeth was seamless. She was responsive and open to making adjustments as we figured out the guest count and dietary preferences.Attached is a picture of the food after it was plated (buffet-style) at our reception!
I’ve been very happy working with Mosaic for my upcoming wedding, the staff was happy to answer all of my questions on both catering and event production, including rentals from other vendors. But most importantly the food is excellent. Pictures are from our tasting.
I was incredibly happy with the catering service that Mosaic Catering provided me a few months back.I threw a Christmas potluck event for my very large team/department and thought it best to get the meats from a catering company, instead of throwing that responsibility onto colleagues. We also purchased a few extra sides for our night shift's potluck later that day. Everything was absolutely delicious - the team couldn't stop talking about how yummy the meats and sides were. Months later, they are all still talking about how good it was.I am very much looking forward to ordering more food from their team in the future :)
We had a wedding this past weekend & paid for 40 plates of food - Dual entrees & for a pretty Penny. We only had 34 people attend & I expected, as they bride to have those leftovers the next day. Well, there was nothing left. & the portions were very small. I was really surprised. The staff was very nice & did a great job- but the extra food should of been left. Was told the staff ate the other 6 plates we paid for at over $50 PER PLATE. That is not ok with me. They were also supposed to deal with the linens, but told us 2 days before the event they could not get any. So that was extra work for me at the last minute. I would shop around before hiring this company for a special event. I can’t give anymore than 3 stars & feel that is being too generous.
I organized a boxed lunch order for my division and placed and paid for the order in advance. When I arrived at the designated pick up time today, they were still assembling the boxed lunches, to my dismay. As most people, I was on a tight schedule and this threw off the lunches for my colleagues. The staff were apologetic but it felt forced and insincere. They said they had staff out today and I know staffing is an issue these days. I felt the way this shortcoming was handled was very unprofessional. When choosing a local restaurant for the boxed lunches, I went with Mosaic. However, I will not use them again and will use a restaurant with more sincerity and concern.
We were so impressed with Mosaic. Everyone was very communicative via email and the tasting prior to our wedding put us at ease for selecting dinner for the largest event we have ever hosted.Everyone was raving about the food and all of the staff was very attentive to the guests and cleaning up the site. We had a very large storm on our wedding day in a tent and the catering staff was first to help keep decorations and place settings from getting damaged or flying away. We really appreciated the extra hands!At the end of the night, we found a cooler box with a meal for two of all of the reception food and a mini champagne bottle for us to share that night. I'm sure it was no surprise that we did not really have a chance to eat at our wedding, so getting this boxed up meal was really thoughtful. Rachel and her team also dropped off a note in our card box wishing us congratulations, which was really sweet. Thank you so much to all of the staff!
We worked with Mosaic Express to order breakfast and lunch for a staff retreat. Emily was very responsive and got our orders placed and confirmed quickly. She was wonderful to work with and the food was delicious! All of our attendees enjoyed the selections.
Ciera and the Mosaic team helped make our wedding day on 10/16/2021 absolutely perfect! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was. From set up, to food, to bar services... they do it all and they do it all well!! You need to hire them for your event!!
