Mezah was amazing!! It was my first time here and I loved it. Also the juices were all fantastic. If you are wanting to travel outside your comfort zone for some delicious rice bowls you have to come here!!
I love Mezehs food and this meal was no exception.The reason they’re getting one star is because their staff is not informed about their ingredients and allergens.I can no longer eat dairy. I am new to ordering in restaurants with this new dietary restriction. I asked about every ingredient that I added and was assured none had dairy.When I got home, I looked it up and found that Mezeh has an allergen list (now I know!) and five of the ingredients that I was EXPLICITLY TOLD were dairy free had milk in them according to the allergen list.Luckily, my dairy issues are an intolerance and I will be fine. But do not trust their employees to know ingredients and allergens. A lesson learned for me today.
Every time I come here Krystal is so pleasant. When I come to the Midlothian location Kystal give top notch customer service. That's why I drive 20 mins to get the great food!!!!
I come to this location quite often as it is right around the corner from my home. Normally the customer service is good here but today was the total opposite. There were about 5 to 6 employees at the location at 8:30pm. The line was moderate as there was only one couple in front of me that hadn’t been helped as I entered. Once the couple was helped I literally stood in the middle of the food bar without any welcome or anything although a worker walked over and stared directly at me before going on to make a pick up order. There were two ladies making food for in store customers, two ladies making to go orders and a gentleman chef.Once it was my turn one of the ladies making the orders completely walked right by me and spoke to the client behind me although I had no food in front of me on their side and just stood there waiting to be acknowledged or even greeted. I kept it nice, gave her my order and left without leaving a tip.I honestly never write reviews but now it’s time to start to speaking up. This would be a bit more understandable if it was mid day or very busy. All clients deserve some basic form of acknowledgment or a greeting at bare minimum. Step it up.
I’m so happy I discovered this place. Their bowls and salads are top notch. Their pita bread is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband and I just found our new favorite takeout place.
If you’re planning to eat lunch hear during an afternoon rush (11:45-1:30 or so), it’s best to order in person. My online order was 25 minutes past the expected pick up time and ingredients were missing. I understand the stress working in food service, still disappointing nonetheless. Otherwise this location is decent.
So many options, but you really can't make a bad choice here. Everything is delicious, especially spicy lamb kefta. And also make sure you get some falafel on the side!
There is a "kids" size bowl and "adults" size bowl! The "kids" size is more than enough for a full grown adult, unless you are a giant!My wife and I got 2 "kids" size bowls with the bread and a mango drink. We got the kefta lamb and 4 toppings.The "adult" size bowl gets unlimited toppings!!The food is always amazing here. If you haven't tried it yet, you haven't lived!
Ordered a pita pocket with falafel and roasted vegetables. The veggies were completely raw including potatoes and sweet potatoes. I don’t normally leave reviews but that was just so disappointing. Pita chips were great tho.
