Exceptionally tasty pizza. I got take out, so I can't review the table service, but the hostess was friendly & cheerful, as was the staff that got my order (which was ready right on time) & took my payment quickly.I had a couple of special requests for my order & it was 100% correct & absolutely delicious. I'd always heard good things about Mellow Mushroom so I was trying to rein in my expectations, but I didn't need to. This place is great.
This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly and funny, and the food was amazing! Decided to try their California club sandwich and man, it was just so good. The service was a little slow but the food definitely made up for it. Not to mention their pretzel bites haha, those were a perfect appetizer. The music taste in here is also just another great part of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend!
I have been here several times over the years and always LOVE the quality of the pizzas. It’s not super “local” as there are hundreds of locations but it is absolutely worth being on everyone’s list for RVA food
Kind of pricey. The pizza was like a cuban sandwich only in pizza form. Very delicious.
Pizza and drinks were amazing and our waiter was so super sweet. I wish I remembered her name for extra kudos to her! Definitely prefer the carytown location vs short pump. Better vibe in my opinion.
Always love when I have an opportunity to eat at Mellow Mushroom!! Just wish they would open one in Chesapeake, VA! Great food and friendly service!
Pizza was good and the other food was decent, but the service wasn't at all. Our table would have to order our drinks multiple times before actually receiving it. This wasn't a bar problem because I would watch them make the drinks and they would just sit there for 10 minutes or more multiple times! Hope the service gets better!
You must try the Mushroom soup! The pizza was excellent and a small one looks not too big but definitely filling. My daughter had the pizza burger and she said it was amazing but wasn't able to finish it. We had 3 small specialty pizzas, pizza burger, Mushroom soup, cheese bread appetizer, 3 sprites and 2 beers for $95. Really good service as well.
Very disappointed in the Philly cheese steak (barely any meat or lettuce, but extra tomatoes?) Served with 9 tots (why 9 though? ?)...But the pizza (Med. Mighty Meaty) was okay.
I was skeptical about the Vegan pizza since I've tried many places in the Richmond area. I was pleasantly surprised and my pizza craving was satisfied. Thanks for having a great vegan option.
