A gem of a bar. It's an experience not just a hang out spot. The bar tender, or should I say, the knowledgeable gentleman behind the bar took us on a journey of tasting new exciting whiskey and gin drinks. I learnt a lot and had the finest gin gimlet I have ever tasted. Make sure you ask lots of questions and try something new. Highly recommend. Oh, and gentleman. There is a no-hat policy.
This was an amazing find and completely made my day. Not only was the bartender knowledgeable about Irish whiskeys, but the selection was far beyond a normal restaurant in the area. Add to that an amazing smoked duck, and I think I've found my happy place. My fiancee got the ribs and they are amazing as well. The greens and grits that come with most plates are on point, and the ambience is wonderful. Highly recommend for any whiskey fans or smoked meat fans out there. I wish I could post photos, but we kind of ate all the food as soon as it hit the table. Next time!

Great selection of whiskey, very knowledgeable staff, great food. My son lives in Richmond and could not wait to take us on a weekend trip to visit him, did not disappoint, we will definitely return next trip.
Richmond's cozy gem of a spirit bar. But don't miss the BBQ which is some of the best in town. The wings had a delish bark and were fall of the bone style. The pulled pork was delish. The pimento cheese dip with loads of toasted bread was out of this world.Extraordinary huge bourbon, whisky, rye, scotch, rum, vodka, and gin menu. Prices fair.
Plan to spend a little more than usual if you want a few drinks ( can be 20-40 a drink fairly easily ) but it's very nice drinks that as you have them you can get lots of information on the whiskey. A really enjoyable process and experience! With awesome food paired up. The ownership here is respectful and relaxing , just after enjoyable experience and a business worth supporting!
