Perfect spot for a great meal with great friends!
Amy, our server, was awesome and made the evening very memorable.
The food and atmosphere really carried the restaurant. They were both really good and made the restaurant seem "nice". However, our waiter introduced himself to the table once and then the person bussing the tables took our orders the rest of the night. The person was very nice, just not who was promised as our wait staff. I also made a note in our reservation that it was our anniversary and I said that I wanted to have something written on the dessert we ordered, but that wasn't done. Overall, good food, but the service and staff could use some polishing.
Maxâs was wonderful! The ambiance is good for date night. The service was good. The cocktails were delicious. The cheese board was delicious!! And the deviled eggs amazing. My boyfriend enjoyed the impossible meatballs and I enjoyed the tasty escargot!! Highly recommend and would definitely return.
Staff and food was beyond exemplary! Thank you for making our friends night out a relaxing one without the feeling of rushing. They really needed it! Your support also to our service members who were seated with me is immensely appreciated. As they work so hard to protect us, the respect given was most admired. Both the server and manager were excellent! We shall come again!

Food was outstanding as always. We were combining dinner with attendance at Virginia Rep and server (who was excellent) made note of that and foos was served promptly. Valet parking attendant was above and beyond.
Everything about Maxâs was superb! Will definitely be going back! It was the perfect place to dine before going to November Theatre for a show. Our waiter was Dylan and he was by far one of the best waiters Iâve had the pleasure of meeting.
