Best sushi in Richmond - hands down! Friendly staff, and the salmon rolls I had -- with avocado, even during the shortage when it's tough to get! -- were so good. Also had a tuna roll which was uniquely different but just as tasty. It's clear that a lot of thought went into their recipes. Authentic sushi at a very fare price. Cool vibe, ambience, too.

We went to Lucky AF for dinner last night and it was a fantastic experience. First of all, the ambience of the restaurant was great, whether you are here on a date or with friends, it will be your perfect spot. It’s pretty and cozy, and it has great beers and cocktails to start you up. The service was also right on point part is the sushi!!! Both my friend and I have lived in Japan and had some world grade sushi. And both of us was so surprised by the quality of their ingredients! The fish was so fresh and definitely fall into a very high quality category! The salmon was so fresh and flavorful. The eel was grilled right on point. The salmon roe was so warm and juicy. The sea urchin was top shelf quality! I am thrilled to finding this restaurant serving Japanese quality sushi here in Richmond! I highly recommend for anyone to go enjoy some amazing food and a great time!

Great selection of sushi with a solid atmosphere. There's something for everyone here and it's made fresh just for you. Had a really good time here with some friends. The bill can add up quickly if you're not careful, some items are pricey.

Lucky AF is a super tasty sushi restraunt! The harley quinn & joker rolls had great flavor, and the lobster dumplings were very rich. The wait can get a bit long, espically on a weekend night, so it would be best to make a reservation when possible. Parking is also a small 6-8 car lot on the side and street parking.

I’ve had great meals at Lucky AF. But the latest was surprisingly disappointing. My girlfriend ordered the tofu teriyaki, which barely had any sauce on it. The tofu was completely unseasoned, as were the vegetables. Zero seasoning, or sauce to cover them with, for that matter. And the onions were raw.The sushi was lackluster. Portions were generous, and the fish tasted good. But the rice was over cooked and could have been seasoned better. In fact, they probably could have used 1/2 as much rice on these rolls. Soooo much rice. It threw off the balance. Will try this place again in a few months. Hopefully my experience will be more like the first time!

Best/freshest sushi in Richmond, interesting mix of traditional and fusion styles rolls. Great happy hour deals (including warm/non sushi options). Interesting drinks.I’d strongly recommend going early to get a table.

Everything was delicious and well prepared. Our waiter, Nick was very attentive without being overbearing. overall a great experience and well worth the money.

First time at Lucky Asian Fusion, but definitely won't be our last. Stopped here on our way to a show and were lucky enough to get seats at the sushi bar. Our server made great recommendations. Ultimately, we ordered a Joker roll, Harley Quinn roll, and the filet mignon pho. Everything was good, but the Joker roll stood out as did the beef in the pho. Next time we will try the pho beef spring rolls. This meal was definitely a treat as was watching the sushi chefs work. Can't wait for our return visit.

Beautiful place but the food was awful. It looked so much better than it tasted and for $70+...I expect it to be delicious!

I was really looking forward to trying this place as most of my favorite restaurants in Richmond are part of the EAT Restaurant Partners group. All I can say is we were severely disappointed. The teriyaki was described on the menu as coming out "sizzling" and it was barely warm by the time we got it. We also ordered the Bougie AF and California rolls and they were also disappointing. I've never had a California roll that was pretty much all cucumber - it literally looked like the crab sticks were cut in half and the bougie AF roll said it had filet mignon on the top and there was barely any. I've seen other people's pictures so I know this place is awesome sometimes but we had a really lackluster experience not to mention a very inattentive server. I don't think we will be coming back.
