Amazing small town coffee shop vibes. Not a coffee need but I loved the coffee.
Lamplighter is my absolute favorite place to go in RVA for coffee. All espresso drinks come with at least two shots of espresso. Their mocha, oat milk latte, and teas have all been delicious. As someone who has been to every coffee shop in Richmond I'm just sad I didn't try Lamplighter soon!
Awesome coffee, chill atmosphere. We sat outside. I had the iced brown sugar oat milk latte. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend it.
Very good coffee at reasonable prices. The Tall Bike brew is very bold and rich.
Cool vibe, but just way too slow. One latte when you’re the 2nd in line shouldn’t take 12 minutes. At the same time, you’re watching orders sit and get cold before being given to customers. Playing business is not the same as running a business guys!
Maybe I ordered badly but my coffee was way too sweet (undrinkable). My BFs single-origin black coffee was too bitter/over extracted. Could have been an off day for them. Either way, not returning.
Delicious, despite being as wide as they are long.
Menu isn't updated. No lunch sandwiches anymore. No indoor seating
Great local coffee shop. Staff are always super friendly and the food and coffee are always delicious. Support your local businesses!
It’s very clear that this place can be *very* good. The espresso used in the cortado is very pleasant. Not overdone with citrus notes nor too dark. The cortado itself was slapped together with little care. The burrito tasted like the beans and potatoes have been sitting in the back of the fridge for a few days.I suspect once they begin serving in glassware it’ll be better.
