I rarely leave bad reviews. Had dinner at the bar Tuesday night. Bartender couldn’t have cared less about serving us and barely acknowledged us. Nachos supreme was runny and we only ate half of it. Asked to get some shots of chilled patron, she brought it warm. Service was so bad it was funny. The older gentleman came out and thanked us for coming. So that was nice. They need a new bartender. Lady hates her job. Place looked really awesome and people seem to love it. I’ll try again one day.
Really great service and some good food! The chips and salsa / white sauce are delicious and the chips came out hot every time. We were happy with all the food we got. I tried the Camerones Yucatecos (shrimp and veggies over spanish rice) and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and it was very tasty. The drinks were very heavy on the tequila (not a complaint!) but beware if you’re not a fan of strong margaritas.
Stopped here for lunch on a whim. I love Quesadillas, they are my go to when I eat at Mexican Restaurants. . The service was good. We was the only new people to enter the Restaurant. Food was hot but my Quesadilla was soggy. It looked good from the top. I also requested they not use cheese sauce but shredded cheese. I was told was shredded cheese but it tasted like it had it on it. I was very disappointed. I won't return. I've had better Tasting ones from fast food Mexican Restaurants. Very disappointing food experience.
Horrible service !!! The girl from the bar with the last name Cruz (15) and her partner (male with not hair and gloss head) were racist, being they latinos too!!! besides my piña colada the presentation was terrible they served it to me in a glass for soda, they didn't even bother to put it in a glass for piña colada, I'm a bartender and the service was horrible, but if you're white don't worry about tip that you leave, they will treat you well. I leave you a tip but honestly they didn't even deserve the tip, because despite me having paid for my drink they made me bitter about the pleasure of drinking it. we ended up going to kickbacks jack where the service being an american bar was excellent. I had to put a star to be able to put this review but for the service you deserve 0Update:In Virginia law don’t said nothing about don’t give service if the person present a foreign identification such a Foreign ID or passport! You supposed to check if the person really have more that 21 years old, and not been a menor of 21 OR a false ID.Since we come inside to the bar the bartender gives us a bad attitude that she don’t want to attend us because we was not white !!! She was so nice with the white persons but she was not nice with the black and Latinos as well the bold guy that I guess if the one responded here,we never have problems in others local establishment either Latino bars or American bars to provide service with a foreign ID cuz the only purpose it’s check that YOU ARE OLDER THAN 21 YEARS OLD …
There was 4 staff members sitting down at the bar when I walked in to pick up my to go order, and somehow being that slow, they still managed to forget to give me half of my order. Literally one entire person's meal. And I was home when I started opening up the bag of food. I give 2 stars cause they at least made a fresh replacement meal, even though we had to drive all the way back.
Beware black people! Our so call Brown brothers and sisters demonstrated a preference for white customers I waited for 10 minutes before I was even recognized then several whites came in and they were immediately waited on and was left standing there when I brought it to the manager's attention she told me in so many words if I didn't like it I could leave so beware people of color!!
Now I’ve had my fair share of tacos so I consider myself an expert (??♀️ aren’t we all) and this place understands the assignment. We ordered the chicken avocado tacos and the Tex Mex fajitas. SUPER delicious and flavorful. We made it in time for happy hour too so that made this trip even better ?. Those margaritas are not to be played with. At just $5 you can get lit by yourself with their complimentary chips and salsa (by the way the chips were fresh and warm, just how I like it). The entire restaurant is a vibe. Best spot for date night or an outing with your friends. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. Will we return??? What kind of question is that? Duh ?
Does your grandma only eat at the cracker barrel? Are you trying to introduce her to world cuisine? Great news cause this is a Mexican restaurant for people who complain there celery is too spicy.
Fajitas and mojito were very nice. Served quick too!
Meh. Watery queso and mediocre burrito. Ultimately filling, though, and accommodated our party of 8.
