First try they were good, second time, great. By the third, 5th and tenth time this place has really grown on me. It’s my go to for street tacos, & the market is absolutely adorable. The carne asada is juicy authentic, chips and guac is a classic. Their hot sauce selection is phenomenal. Overall this place is amazing. More times that you go there is more of the menu, market, and amazing options to discover.
Sucks! Small portions of bad quality food for way too much $$$. Self serve, no chips n dip and HORRIBLE customer service! Young teenagers who don't care and deliberately "ignored" some of our requests/questions. This place sucks. Used to be good food for reasonable prices. Now, everything is lacking. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. They're overcharging for what? Bad food, bad service. Smh
Great tasting authentic Mexican food. A hidden gem in Richmond! Showcases how simple ingredients + fresh spices creates wonderfully flavorful food. Try the pick 3 so you can try different items. Tacos are the best. Papusas are ok. Gordita is huge - too much cheese maybe? Meats are well seasoned. They have many spice levels of green and red salsa. Seating area is sufficient and tastefully decorated. Counter pickup service. It's always crowded so kitchen can be a little slow even though it's counter service. It's great food not fast food expect 10 minutes. Best to dine in - somehow food fresh off the grill/oven tasted better
The food is without a double some of the best in the area. I look forward to working in the area just so I can eat there for lunch. Friendly staff and clean environment. 10/10 would recommend
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican, look no further! Great food at affordable prices! We love coming here!
Don't expect flashy digs as this is a grocery store with a food counter. Do expect excellent Mexican dishes prepared authentically. Try the special pork (not carnitas) prepared on-site Sundays, it's amazing! The deserts and Horchata are also great, and if you want pinata's or Lucha masks they have you covered.
I mean shi I tried gettin like a taco or something but the price made me puke a lil in my mouth. Can’t stand a single worker in there makes me wanna relapse off the perc again. Only good thing there probably is like the sprite. Would defintely go again no complaints.
I love tacos from here they are so good and the hot sauce they put are great
I have loved La Milpa's food for years. This time we were there for the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos with performance of traditional Azteca dance troupe, followed by a special menu at $15/person. The tamales and chicken with mole sauce were especially delicious.
My go-to for authentic tacos and tortas. They also have a little market with essential ingredients, Hispanic candies, and snacks.
