Went in for the Memorial Weekend sale on donuts, told we can not get the deal and proceeded with attitude and not great customer service. Sat in the parking lot to place an online order without all the grief and had to wait an additional 10 minutes past scheduled availability time. Will not go to this Krispy Kreme again. So sad and unfortunate as I have been a customer here for a long time. However the donuts are still amazing as always.
Strike 2! I just left this store and for some reason I always have the same cashier. Tishard is rude and unfriendly. I told him my box was opened and he just gave me this blank look. I had to reach over and close the box while he watched. I then asked him for a bag and he sat it on top of my boxes. I gave him a sharp look and he picked the bag up and started to bag my donuts. The first time I encountered him was in the drive thru 2 weeks ago. He totally messed my order up and then had his back to me after he jammed my boxes out the window. No thank you or have a nice day from this big angry guy. If it wasn't for my family loving the yummy donuts I wouldn't return.

In the picture listed, which I took today at 9:15 pm, listed below are the store hours which state this store closes at 10:00, I went to both entrances, and the doors were locked tight! SmdhhI wonder if the owner knows this!
Krispy Kreme is the most amazing donut in the world!! There is no donut that can hold a candle to them. I went thru the drive thru and didn't have to wait. Staff was nice and personable. Reasonably priced and hot.
This location has the old style fryer creating the true lusciously light glazed doughnuts I prefer from Krispy Kreme. I like to call them angel kisses when they are light, not greasy, and perfect.
I truly love Krispy Kreme doughnuts. But yesterday truly upset me. We don’t get to Richmond very often, but when we do we try to go to Krispy Kreme and bring home doughnuts. After my Dr appt. we went through the drive thru around 6:00pm. We ordered a box of glazed and a box of assorted. Six chocolate custard filled, one lemon filled, one cake blueberry, five glazed chocolate covered. The total came to a total of $25. Which I thought was a little high. Upon arriving home, we had a box of glazed but the box of assorted was very assorted. We did not get the lemon, we did the blueberry cake, 3 choc custard filled, 4 choc Bavarion cream filled and the rest was choc covered in which the hole in the middle was twice as big as I have ever seen. Not to mention the choc cream filled were very oddly shaped. We live in Carson which is 15 miles south of Petersburg, so it was not an option to return them. I have never had this type of service from Krispy Kreme. Needless to say my family and I are very disappointed.
The absolute pits when it comes to service. The old lady that’s been there for 87 years should never be in customer service. Been here numerous times and NEVER had a positive customer experience. If the donuts weren’t so damn good, I’d write this place off.Oh, and did I mention that they’re NOT open, except for the drive-up? Sure… I have time to wait behind 13 cars and take 20 minutes for a donut and coffee. Byeee. (Where’s the closest Dunkin’?).
It saddens me to not score 5stars, it should be 2 stars! I waited in line for over an hour! I was okay with the wait because I love love KRISPY KREME! my taste buds were getting ready for #1 Glaze donuts ! But when I finally got to the window the guy said the Glaze MACHINE WAS DOWN! Why score so low,? Customer Service! The line was wrapped around the building, no one came outside to notify that machine was down, no sign was posted "temporarily down". Keep in mind, in Richmond this is the ONLY Krispy Kreme and I live 45 mins away. I could go on and on , but its been more than 2weeks and I'm still disspointed. Krispy Kreme "get it together"!
Great doughnuts but the staff was a little rude, then again it was late day and I don't blame them, probably just went on a bad day will come back for those amazing doughnuts though
