Great food and atmosphere. It has a very small, hole in the wall feel, but it's not claustrophobic. There are also many imported beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic available, and I always have a fun time choosing a new one I haven't tried yet.Every time I drive through Richmond I try to stop here. It's worth going out of your way to try out J Kogi for sure.

Pleasantly surprised that we were able to find a Korean restaurant/ bar in downtown Richmond on a Sunday for lunch while in town for an event at the convention center. It has boba cocktail on the specials board which was interesting. For lunch we had a Korean rice bowl each. Good portion on both (chicken and pork belly) with a choice of sauces to choose from. They are really good and would highly recommend and would go back personally.

First and foremost, the food and atmosphere was great. This wasn't a traditional Korean restaurant; but nonetheless, this "Asian fusion" was amazing. However, the service could've been better. The waitress had an attitude from the beginning, as if we were wasting her time whenever we asked for something. We all have a bad day and maybe it was just that, but I will not be going back.

Kogi has three delicious vegan options, and really good drink options too! Lots of soju flavors and a nice beer selection. The staff is very nice and the food comes out super quickly.

Had a great dinner, was a little slow so the waiter was very attentive. Food came out great, hot and tasty. Loved the wings!

Amazing! The food, atmosphere, & staff were all 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️ Loved the experience!

The wings were drowning in sauce. Bring a life preserver and ask for extra napkins. I’ll give it another shot but definitely staying away from the wings. (It ain’t no bon chon if that’s what you’re looking for)

Alcohol best Korean food in all of Virginia! Fantastic service, relatively fast even with lots of people. Highly recommended to get the Bulgogi with tangy bbq.

cute family run restaurant with a cute server. my server, jun, was super nice and a great conversationalist. he even gave me a drink for the conversation. i got the kimbap with egg and spam. it was really good and great for an afternoon snack or light dinner. definitely coming back to try other menu items!!to jun: thank you! you’re the best :)

Went here during the 2nd Street Festival. They had an outside menu but indoor seating and a bathroom for paying customers.Food was great! I tried the Korean Cheese Corndog with ketchup and mustard. I have seen it so much on social media and had to try it! It was like a huge mozzarella stick, but so much better. 9/10Also had the Milk Tea with boba (made with condensed milk). It goes without saying, but don’t order if you can’t handle milk ?. The tapioca peals were great and the drink went perfectly with the tea. 7/10
